What’s in the MixPot?

The MixPot is full of digital goodness. The MixPot will be delivered in waves starting within 24 hours after the end of the briefing, and will include:

Rare Replay – full game download. Mature game – will not be awarded to accounts for users under 17.
Halo Wars 2 Kinsano Leader Pack (with special bonus of 3 Blitz Packs for Xbox One players)
Minecraft Redstone Specialists Skin Pack (for Minecraft: Xbox One Edition)
Halo Warthog in Forza Horizon 3 (unique vehicle not available in the in-game store)
HAWKEN – Starter Pack
No Time to Explain – full game download
The Final Station – full game download. Mature game – will not be awarded to accounts for users under 17.
Note The giveaways will not be awarded to accounts for users with family settings that block purchases.

When will I receive my Xbox E3 MixPot?

Once you have linked your Mixer account to your Microsoft Account, you will receive your MixPot within a week or less.

Not bad.

That's really quite decent. Noticed during the stream that they were having problems with people logging into Mixer, so they're extending the offer though the week.

Giving away Rare Replay is a cool move, even if I have it already. I guess it makes people aware of the original Xbox more and that you will soon be able to play more older games. I've already got the other two "real" games and most of the dlc bits don't matter, but it seems like I'll be getting a third Warthog in Forza Horizon 3 then...

Happy with those freebies just for watching on Mixer. Just to check though, if watching on the xbone the Mixer account has been set up automatically? There's nothing else that needs to be done in this scenario?

I think you had to sign up and log in. If you don't get it they're extending it into the week, you just have to watch one of those 'Xbox Daily' things.

I only caught the first half hour but can someone answer a couple of Q's i have

1.) they said they have 22 exclusives, how many of those are actual exclusives and not timed launches? I assume the launch exclusive ones means they will come to PS4 eventually?

2.) what was 343's little Halo announcement thing?

1. Yes.

2. Saw the whole show (why was it 2 hours long?!) and I don't recall any new Halo.

Pretty solid conference but nothing from that conference has made me want to finally invest in an Xbox.

When their exclusives that I do want to play also come to Windows, why would I ever think about buying one?

I now have a PS4, Switch and a gaming PC with a 1070 in it. I have all bases covered for any game without owning an Xbox.

Ha, was expecting the Mixpot stuff to appear in the Ready To Install section but they're actually already downloaded. Nice one MS.

Crackdown 3, Forza 7, Sea of Thieves, Ori 2 and Cuphead were the only exclusives.

The rest were "launch exclusive" indie titles. Makes you wonder if MS actually have any other games brewing outside 343 and Coalition.

Not a fan of Indie games, can't even stand that gooseberry fool when its thrown at you with PS+. Crackdown 3 will be had on PC along with Cuphead. 4K gaming doesn't interest me as much as it should yet as I don't have a 4K ready TV. I'll stick with the PC/PS4 Pro combo for now and get a Switch for Mario/Zelda etc later in the year.

This maybe a little controversial to say, but what is the point of the X1X when cloud processing can provide the power of 10 X1s? Or have they suddenly gone quiet on the whole cloud thing?

Halo Wars 2 DLC is the little something. Will be shown on one of the Daily Shows.

I think they realised that not everyone has a fantastic internet connection so having processing done in the cloud while great in theory just doesn't really work so they've quietly dropped it.

So only Ori 2 was a brand new announced title? That just seems crazy to me, you have a new console coming out and your trying to push reasons for people to buy an XBO yet they have hardly any exclusive 'only on XBO' titles.

I assume this new console was already in development when the were in he process of talking up the cloud?
Pretty cheeky if you ask me..... Ah well.

Yeah, I couldn't get in on Mixer, so I'd have been miffed to have lost out. I'll have to check the terms and do what is necessary.

Everyone said this would be a problems hen they axed Scalebound and killed off Lionhead.

Very few internal studios remain now.

You just have to watch one of the 'Xbox Daily' shows that are on through the week through Mixer.

Ah, ok. Cheers. Does that mean watching them live, and in full?
