Bloody hell that's going to need some serious graphical downgrades even on Scorpio.
I dread to think what walking into some of the larger towns will be like as they all have multiple characters who wander about and can all be in shot at once at times the slowdown will be horrific.
Maybe it could work on a real top of the line PC but even then I'm sceptical you could have anything with graphics even approaching Fallout 4 levels.

Why would it get a downgrade on the X1 version to work in VR?

Have you seen Resident Evil 7 on PSVR? It looks almost the exact same as the base game.

Also, Fallout 4 VR uses a teleport/warp system to move, you can't just walk about cos they think it will make people throw up cos of the amount of time you spend wandering about, another reason VR is a bit pants at mo.

No I haven't but I have played Driveclub which is outdoors and struggles with the lighting effects and that's without people wandering about or enemies flying at you and trying to chew your head off. I just seriously can't see anything like Fallout 4 working in VR at the moment given that the machines struggle to get the games working at 1080p and 60fps on a regular telly.

What machines? It's 30fps on consoles, just need that bumped to 60 isn't it?

The man already said Scorpio gives him the power to deliver this in VR.

Was listening to Podcast unlocked and they had a pretty good theory as to why the MS conference is earlier than all bar EA. Basically they will be unveiling Xbox Scorpio and with it will release its final name, so then in Bethesda and further games conferences publishers can say "running on Xbox Infinity (or whatever its called).

Microsoft's traditional E3 booth has been taken by Nintendo this year, the new MS one is tiny.

Does it matter how big the stand is as all the news will be generated by the pre-show conferences anyway and I'm going to be honest I don't give a gooseberry fool about how cramped the journalists are at a big glitzy show like E3 where they'll be showered with freebies anyway.

Call me a monster if you like but I don't care if they just hire an ice cream van and have a bloke stood on top with a loud hailer shouting out the news while they serve up delicious ice creams for free from the van.

Well, it's normally an indication that when this happens software is on the sparse side of things.

The show floor space tends to reflect how many games they'll have.

But they've already won the console war from this Christmas as they will have the best pixels so what does it matter?

Seriously though I'm sure they can just reconfigure the booth and have less wasted space and everything will be fine and they can still showcase everything. They just won't have space for a life sized Warthog or dance team.

I'm sure they'll have tons of new* games to show off.

*Tons of old 360 games that will be added to BC ;)

As I've said, floor space reflects the amount of games they have to show, hence why Sega and Konami are so small now where as Nintendo have increased due to expected new Switch titles.

Personally, I hope their Sea of Thieves demo area is a pirate ship :datass:
