3 Wishes? (videogame related)

Hence my call of it being Star Wars: Garden Warfare and not Star Wars Battlefront. I think when EA first had the licence for making games and announced on that stage at E3 2013 they would be bringing Battlefront back - many people thought they'd be able to do what that leaked footage of Battlefront 3 showed us, even if it was just one mode. And even if this new mode for Battlefront 2 does bring an interconnected space/ground environment, it still won't be the same because the fundamentals of the system just won't allow it to be the same without a lot of compromises.

My three wishes are one - and you'll see why.

Next year is the 10th Anniversary of FFXIII. It would be great if they finally remastered and reissued the FFXIII trilogy in HD for PS4 and XBox. Even better if they did so as one boxed multi-disk collection (all three games in one set), complete with all its DLC and some sumptuous packaging (maybe even a numbered artbook) to pay some serious fanservice.

Day one purchase for me - preferably the most ridiculously over-expensive and pointless Collector's Edition available.

I don't think it will happen, but that's my gaming 'three' wishes. My credit card trembles with anticipation...

While this would be brilliant, I think it would need to be remade from the ground up rather than a remaster. The level design would need to be changed to accommodate the MGSV mechanics. Immediately the heliport and snowfields jump to mind as areas that could be expanded on easily. Just keep the same voice acting and we're golden.

Exactly - it brings so much scope to genuinely improve on the experience by re-thinking the game for the mechanics which the MGSV engine would allow.

Imagine actually getting to explore Shadow Moses island as a larger open environment, the next gen special forces have captured and are protecting both the facility and the surrounding area and Snake has to locate and stealthily make his way to the various buildings across occupied territory. It always felt very "on top of itself" in the original game and it would be great if things were a bit more spaced out to give some of the MGSV gameplay elements a chance to shine!

Basically I think you could do something very similar to Ground Zeroes with MGS1 and it would be amazing.

1. Sony and Nintendo to follow Microsoft's lead by making their own versions of the Adaptive Controller or at least some means of using it on their consoles - currently this requires a 3rd party adapter.

2. Namco make a proper Ridge Racer Type 4 sequel with none of the crap like auto drifting, nitro boosts and destructable environments which the most recent games introduced, failing that a HD remake of Type 4.

3. A return of AAA turn based RPGs
