TBA? That possibly means they're going to announce a new game (Bungie's game? - edit: it's not, see below), or perhaps they're simply looking for donations.

Valve to Debut Left 4 Dead on Xbox 360 at PAX

In keeping with Valve's plan to take its co-op zombie shooter Left 4 Dead on tour before its November release, the company today announced that it will be making several appearances at upcoming industry events.

Curious survivors can check out Left 4 Dead at the Leipzig Games Convention (Germany), Festival du Jeu Video (France), and PC Gamer Showdown (UK). The company also noted that the worldwide premiere of the Xbox 360 version will take place at the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo.
"The shared experience of Left 4 Dead is unlike that of any other action game," said Valve president Gabe Newell. "That's what we've experienced playing the game, and from showing the game to the press and our partners.

"It sounds cliche, but in many ways you have to play this one to truly appreciate what we're attempting. So, to give gamers a chance to sample this new type of experience first hand, we're taking Left 4 Dead on the road."

# Many surprises. None I can talk about though.

I'm hoping one is the new Halo game & the other is Ninja Blade.

Is this instead of an X0 event and partly why they let the German convention go?

The big X0 events are usually around late September/October, hopefully there will be one this year but there's been no word yet AFAIK.

Wasn't there a Canadian XO8 event earlier this week?

Yeah, but that's not the main X0 event, they've had those little ones before too (they held smaller X0 events in Canada in both 2006 and 2007 for example).

I see, I thought they only held one XO event a year.

I'm sure they are normally announced by now so I suspect Mattrick has dropped the idea completely.

Bungie wrote:For the record, we have no plans to make any big announcements or huge reveals at PAX this year. While we will have some Halo 3 multiplayer stuff for you to check out, this is not going to be the "big announcement" many of our fans are clamoring for. Rest assured that when the time is right, we will be making announcements and talking about the stuff we're currently working on. At the moment we do have three distinct projects underway within Bungie - some familiar, some not. Some on a closer horizon, some quite far off.

There's hope for X08 yet!

Any idea what 'TBA' could be now?

You've got to wonder how these games are going to get finished!

The amount of shows these guys have to prep for is getting silly
