Post5.1 Surround Sound on Xbox 360

Guys,

Having recently moved house and acquired a 'Games Room', I've eventually set-up a Dvd player I got free with my telly that has 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers. I really want to connect this to my 360, but I'm utterly clueless when it comes to connections and stuff like that.

What I do know is that there is no Optical Cable port on my DVD player, and only one set of component lead jacks on the back of my DVD player.

Hope someone is able to help.

Cheers

Holy gooseberry fool, you downloaded a games room?

Anyway, to get surround sound from your 360, use an optical cable. There should be a connector on your telly and on the grey A/V block that plugs into your 360.
