Well played to the French indeed, not the result i wanted to see, but the one that was probably deserved.

I'll be rooting for England to beat Ireland, so that the leaderboards are equal between the top 4. :)
**** off.

I would have said 'good lad' !! For a welshman, your very generous - especially as I was rooting for france full pelt tonight !

Ah, the Welsh rugby machine stopped by the French. Bravo, les Blues, it's well deserved.

Shocking that Shanklin wasn't sent off - the refereeing has been so inconsistent. Last week English players are binned for falling on the ball, this week a man in the air without the ball is taken out and is let off, as is a pretty outrageous off-the-ball tackle (can they not go to the video ref for these?).

My girlfriend is pretty pissed off, as is the way in Anglo-Welsh relationships this time of year.

I strawberry floating loved last night, seeing the boyo's put in their place again. How the hell Shanklin didn't get yellowed is beyond me...if that had been an England player it would have been a straight red in all likelyhood, there is really a shocking lack of consistency in the standard of refs in this tournament.

France totally pulverised Wales in the second half and really should have been out of sight. Loved seeing Edwards face sat on the bench watching his defence breached at will time and time again. I really hope that other teams do their homework on this vastly overrated Wales side as well as France had done as I'm hoping that once the Welsh bubble is burst they will return to the whipping boys mantle.

Aye I was going to mention this - you could see against England the Welsh defence can become pretty poor, there were lots of large gaps, drifting badly and often leaving overlaps. It didn't used to be like that, and against England it didn't really matter, but it was clear if they defended like that again, France was going to rip them apart.

As Wales is so good in attack they perhaps have concentrated less on defence tactics - apparently they had 95% tackles made last night (which I can well believe), but that doesn't matter a damn if you've let the opposition cross the gain line and offloaded the ball - as France are so good at.

Overrated? Nah, they are still very good.

England, like two weeks ago, would have won the game if it wasn't for their utterly stupid discipline. Bunch of idiots.

Can't really say that when O'Gara missed 100 penalties. Still though very very relieve with that, the dream is still on!

This is missing the fundamental point! England's indiscipline is often the result of our immobile (and seemingly unfit) forwards total inability to defend against quick ball...we have to slow our opponents ball down and this will always verge on the illegal. The fact we are being forced into the indiscipline indicates that we are just not good enough.

Christ we won a match

Johnson's reaction to the second England sin binning was priceless, surprised there's been no gifs yet.

Doesn't really matter when you have a talisman like Mr B O'Driscoll to step up to the mark. If only England had anyone who would remotely take a lead....

I think Mr Johnson may exchange a few words with Mr Care when next they meet on the training pitch.

I think Mr Johnson may extract one of Mr Care's testicles to stop him doing it again.

Should be entertaining fare this weekend. Hoping that Wales don't put too many past Italy and that Scotland fold against Ireland. England v France is nice to watch as Ireland have beat them both.
