90s nostalgia thread (No games chat, please)

Inspired by the Nostalgic Toys thread.

Try to keep things a little niche, yes we all remember FRIENDS and the Spice Girls, but they've been done to death.

If you'd never used one of these, then you never went to a British school in the 90s. These dreadful machines ran Windows 3.0, but the teachers would cockblock you from using it, instead you were confined to the RM Network, an assortment of garbage apps including a cheap Office knock-off, a tutrtle directing game, an awful picture music creator and PaintSpa, all running on a gorgeous brown interface :?

Brick fill was the gooseberry fool :datass:

I went to a school with no money. We still used Acorn Archimedes until 2000.

Oh, man! I used them in the 80s on my BTEC computing course. The college then upgraded to Amstrad PC 1512s (5.25" twin floppy disk, no hard drive) :datass:.

I had a love/hate relationship with SM:TV,it was on the same time as Smackdown! so obviously I wanted to watch that, but SM:TV was very good when then sister won the battle for the remote. C.H.U.M.S,Wonkey Donkey and the Pokemon bits were great.

If he did his BTEC in the 80s I'm gonna guess early to mid 40s.

43. My youthful enthusiasm belies my oldness and baldness.

Most people don't remember this, think CBBC had it in 1993.

Well obviously there were more great games for the console (Sonic and Knuckles included) than the ones I mentioned, these are the ones that made me nostalgic, the theme of the thread.

WARNING, INCOMING GAME! WARNING, INCOMING GAME!

Remember CITV talking this up like it was the second coming during the Toy Story hype, I'll admit I was very impressed when it came out though.

As a 82 born child with an older (bn79) and younger (bn87) brother I feel that I was able to really benefit from 80s and 90s toys and TV. Truly great times. I got all my older brothers old toys and was able to extent my youth by playing with my younger brother when as an only child or youngest sibling u would probably be growing out of them.
