1. I don't know how to add a network card (no idea about building computers or adding parts.

I wanted a wifi dongle that connects to my home wifi network , where do I buy one that's the cheapest and will deffo work with windows 7 ??

If you don't to want to wait for delivery (bank holiday weekend) then you can pick one up from Maplins - http://www.maplin.co.uk/networking/wireless/wireless-usb-dongles
Obviously PC World should have some too, and maybe even a large Tesco.
