I thought we had already done this thread this year but it turns out I was thinking of the cheese on toast thread. Anyway all four are acceptable.

You can buy crumpets with cheese and marmite from M&S for £7. Some people have more money than sense.

The problem with that kind of thing on a crumpet, is that the cut pet holds so much heat that the honey will soak through and be more on the plate that on the food.

What are you talking about?! Whilst there are air vents / toppings-funnels at the top of the crumpet there are none at the bottom. This means hot melting butter and honey pour into the vents perfectly blending until you take a bite and you get a full flavour burst taste sensation!

I haven't tried Nutella on crumpet but I feel it's a bit of a cheat because it could makes anything better, even school mash potatoes.

What I have tried is a banana with Nutella and Fluff! Too good but too bad, you all must try it!

The bottom of the crumpet is still porus, so while not everything gets through, it still ends up being a mess to eat (even the marmite does this).
