Just finished the DLC. I enjoyed the even more surreal twist on the gameplay and I felt that it did advance the story, even if it's just to clarify the obscure ending.

Gotta go back and find all those alarm clocks and cardboard cutouts next. :D

They really have ramped up the difficulty in the DLC especially in the church cellar should finish it tonight if I get the chance.

It's cocktail time!. Then again when isn't it.

Finished The Signal and i must say i was very impressed with it. I loved some of the set pieces in the game - my favourite was the bit with all the telephone poles (with the flickering lights) and the shitload of Taken. That bit had me on edge, especially as i was running out of ammo. I loved seeing insane Alan on the TV and how he'd describe what was about to happen next. Anytime i saw a TV when i entered a new area i immediately thought to myself "Oh crap, not again! The only downside for me is that it was slightly short, and thanks to some of the brilliant bits during the DLC, i was left wanting more.

Can't wait for The Writer. Do we have any idea when that is due?

Oh yeah... I would. :shifty:

Not a big fan of this DLC so far though (not got very far yet, I should add) as it just throws enemies at you in massive numbers, way more than it did even toward the end of the main game! Hopefully these difficulty spikes won't ruin the story for me.

Yeah 47, there are a fair few bits where The Signal throws a hell of a lot of enemies at you. They certainly ramped up the action for the DLC - that said, the atmosphere at times is as good as ever.

I'd do him, good and proper. ;)

Glad to hear the atmosphere still carries throughout the episode, I've enjoyed the darker bits I've seen so far. It's just the ramped-up action that's been a bit of a turn-off.

What bit have you got up to so far? Also, does anyone know what difficulty the DLC is? I didn't notice any options at change the difficulty or anything, when booting up the DLC.

He's a Finnish too so I bet he has a really cool accent. Like Sam Lake. Another heart throb.
