Just noticed they changed the game's title, what's with that? Fireteam was better than Fireteam Elite

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Deluxe Edition upgrades the Standard Edition to include the Endeavor Veteran Pack and the Endeavor Pass which contains four additional cosmetic DLC pass bundles - including class kit skins, weapon colors, head accessories and more - that will release alongside upcoming free major gameplay updates
So it's £25 for cosmetics DLC as the other updates are free. So if they release horde mode it'll be free, if they release a t shirt that says "I love horde mode" it'll be part of the £25 season pass.
Not going to complain about that. Unless they release skins for all original Aliens movie marines..... Then it's game over man.

I am a huge Alien fanboy, I even like Alien 3, but what I have seen of this so far it feels quite bland tbh. Below £5 steam sale jobbie.

I think they need to go back and rewatch the film if they think the marines were actually *fighting* the aliens and not just constantly running for their lives.

To be fair that's almost exactly what that preview says:
It's the aspect of James Cameron's 1986 movie, Aliens, that most games based on the film struggle to capture, or miss altogether: the fact that the badass Colonial Marines lose. They spend most of the movie slowly getting picked off, setting up doomed defenses, and running for their lives.

I'm looking forward to this. I imagine it'll be great online and the love for the franchise is clear with the amount of fan service. A cheap price £35 on PS5 and a cosmetic only season pass is also nice to see.
Looking forward to the Queen reveal and hopefully some aliens based in the kenner toy line.

Some of the different alien types look wild. Is this going to be stand up fight, sir, or another bug hunt?

This is exactly how I feel. It looks okay, but the fact preorders were around the £25 mark recently makes me
think it’ll go the way Colonial Marines did and I’ll be able to pick it up for £5 on sale.
And I love Alien

Interesting they lean into the Seegson stuff, a brand that was fictionally made up for Alien Isolation. This is a good thing imo.
