Marvel aren't continuing the X-Men anthologies beyond Trials of X volume 12.

I'm totally out of the loop in the comics world nowdays, but I stumbled across this artwork for the upcoming Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong... and it looks terrific!

The current run of World's Finest is also by Mark Waid, and is very good too. A bit more light than Birthright too.

Mark Waid has written a lot for DC over the years, but check out JLA: Tower of Babel by him as well.

I'll add them to the list, I'll have to go through Geoff John's GL run as well as I remember really enjoying that

Hellfire Gala 2023- Absolutely brutal.

Probably the most Xavier thing Xavier has ever done.

What’s happened?

Nimrod and Orchis murdered loads of people at the Hellfire Gala. They announced that all mutants had to leave Earth or they would start killing random human civillians. 1 human for the first mutant found on Earth, 100 for the second mutant on Earth and so on. Xavier telepathically compelled every mutant to flee to Mars because of course he did. He's lucky Magneto's dead.

Who are actually the main writers at Marvel just now. Hickman aside there doesn't seem to be anyone interesting last time I looked.

The main "architects" at the minute are below though I think Gillen only has one book, important though it is. People seem to like Jed McKay but he's never clicked with me.

Jonathan Hickman
Kieron Gillen
Al Ewing
Gerry Duggan

Dan Slott is still trying to work his way back into Spider-Man. He's doing a lot of side Spider-Man books I've not read at all.

Al Ewing is pretty good.
