Terrible idea, they did the same with red hulk just make him hot, that'll work. It'll be re set in a year when he dies and then a few months later when he comes back again. Its sad as Wolverine in old man Logan and the Ultimate version was interesting.

Wish my image sig would work

Probably the best pick for it out of the writers they have (well, Al Ewing probably would have been better if they wanted to do something as grand as Hickman's run since he's basically the closest thing). He's really good with the cosmic side of things as shown in his Silver Surfer series and he really knows his gooseberry fool about Marvel history which is pretty important for a title like this.

I feel like I'm the only DC reader on this forum sometimes.

I still pay attention to DC...well Batman.

It's just DC has been "solid" for a while now - while all the cluster chuffs are coming from Marvel

Steve Ditko has been found dead. He was the co-creater of Spider-Man. He made it to 90.

:(

EDIT: Glib smilie response aside, that's upset me. I don't know how much of his work people are familiar with but Spider-Man and Dr. Strange are just a starting point. Rorschach from Watchmen is based heavily on his characters The Question and Mr. A, and he also created a number of characters(including Hawk and Dove, the allegorical Vietnam superheroes) for D.C. His personal politics and commitment to Objectivism as a concept bled through into a lot of his work and I found them quite questionable, but he's a sad loss for the industry, and for anyone who loves comics.

Is Brian K. Vaughn's back catalog worth getting into? I've recently devoured all TPBs of Saga and Paper Girls and loved them (although I feel Saga has dipped since Paper Girls started); do Ex Machina and Y: The Last Man still hold up in 2018?

Dunno about them but Runaways was good.

I really wanted to like Aaron's Avengers run because it has a good line up, but I’ve read issue 5 now and it's still really boring me. Lots of info dump about Celestials, lots of disjointed hoping around, few interesting character moments. I’m hoping the second arc will be better, but so far, I’m seriously considering dropping it, which is saying something from me, considering it’s a book with Iron Man, Cap and Captain Marvel on the same team.

On the plus side, Quicksilver's mini has been good so far and Life of Captain Marvel is off to a good start.

I love anything to do with the Celestials so I'm all in on his Avengers so far. Thor has been excellent too.

Remember Wolverine's new "Hot Claw" power?

Well they're sentient, fueled by his rage and he can use them to shoot fire

I'm loving Bendis on Action Comics, but his Superman is much weaker.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Does anyone read Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Mighty Morphin Power Rangers? I’ve read the first volume of each ages ago but thinking of starting them again and picking up a few of the more recent GN’s
