I loved Red Matter. Looking forward to the sequel.

Tetris Effect is brilliant, obviously.

I picked this up for PSVR during the last sale (it was three quid-ish) although I haven't tried it out yet. Plenty of reviews on YouTube were positive about it :-).

I think it got a lot of attention because it looks staggeringly good, but there is a decent, immersive game with an intriguing story there as well.

£3 is a bargain. I think I paid £18 (Quest) and still thought it was worth the price. I'm actually thinking about playing it again now the sequel is on the way.

Wanderer on PSVR is currently half-price at £17.50 in the PlayStation Store. It looks neat and I like how PSVR Without Parole, the reviewer in the above vid, was so positive about the game and subsequently added a pinned comment:

UPDATE: There have been a ton of patches to Wanderer since launch and I swear this game is nearing perfection. As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best games on the platform...

The game requires the Move controllers so a bit of arm-waving space will be needed.

Unplugged VR (Quest) is £11.49 (40% off) on the "Fanatical" site. Offer ends in about a day. Official keys. Claimed no problem paying with Paypal.

Will hold off playing it until the new hand tracking update comes out.

I tried to get into Red Matter but it was the only game that made me feel queasy. There was something different about the motion, compared with other games, that seemed to send my brain into a spin!

Found out a few of the guys I work with have quests and use them regularly, with another guy looking to buy one soon. Nice to be amongst an active VR crowd.

Oohoohoo dis good

I'm not sure if the hand tracking is updated or not yet but I had a decent time with it - I might try holding something in my left hand because sometimes I didn't have my little finger tucked in enough for it to register. Also trying to not have the guitar go loopy loo so I don't end up with my arm in a stupid position as the song progresses, but I've only played it for half an hour so far. Also has my favourite Offspring song

Good to hear. It’s don’t thinking the hand tracking update has rolled out to my headset yet, so am currently waiting for that before starting it.

Talos Principle VR is £9 on Steam - I don't even think I'd play the game properly again, I just want to walk around the different worlds in VR

Have you played it before? If you haven't I can't recommend it highly enough. It's a steal at £9, especially as it's a full length game (and also includes the DLC) and not a four-five hour job that you sometimes get on the Oculus Store for the same price.

Yeah I really miss the time when I was properly into this game. Years down the line it'll seem very primitive, but where we currently are with what are still relatively early 'proper' VR experiences it's fantastic. I'll be going back to it as soon as I've got my new VR space sorted (I've been saying that for months now ).

I played a bit of the original, but never finished it. The VR version feels great, though, and it's super fun just wandering around those ruins, with the columns towering over you, in a way that the environments never quite came across on a monitor. Really good fun.

I have £5 in my PayPal wallet so I've just bought it. Thanks for spending my money for me. Gotta get as much VR in as I can now as if IVF works I might have to pack my Index away this time next year :(

I hated Saints and Sinners. It was very fleshed out (lol), but I just found it incredible frustrating. The hoard mode meant I could get a bit more fun out of it, but I didn’t think the mechanics worked well. I was forever dropping stuff accidentally, and just running around benny hill style with a conga line of walkers trailing me.

It also was the first game I have played on Quest (2) where the hardware limitations actually reduced the immersion, it just looks bad and bare. The only upshot of all that is that I can delete the game and free up a load of space without remorse.

Probably my biggest VR disappointment, but I know I am in a minority with this view. I had a lot more fun with Zombieland Headshot Fever (that has also a good rogue like update).

This might sound weird but does anyone think about Half Life Alyx as more than a game? As in, when I remember playing other games they are very clearly defined as games in my mind but I remember Alyx as more of a personal memory of something I experienced than a game I played.

I guess that's an odd side effect that VR can have but my brain definitely files the memory of Alyx differently to other games.

Doesn't happen with other VR games I've played so must be something to do with just how will crafted Alyx is.
