My current list of VR games to either get or that I already own are,

Half Life Alyx
Elite Dangerous
Skyrim VR
Fallout 4 VR
Zone of the Enders 2
Vader Immortal

Any other good PC VR Recommendations?

Would you like a key for Gorn?

Yes. Yes he would.

Gorn is arguably the most psychotic, violent fun I've ever had. It's great.

It's amazing how much of a sadist I become as I gleefully cave in someones skull, then slowly impale someone else on a wooden spike.....

Have you played Rez Infinite?

Also Moss, Pistol Whip, Beat Saber, Lone Echo and I've not played it, but I know some people seem to really love Boneworks.

EDIT - Also Space Pirate Trainer.

So after recommendations from here and ResetEra my VR Play list has now expanded to,

Half Life Alyx
Elite Dangerous
Skyrim VR
Fallout 4 VR
Zone of the Enders 2
Vader Immortal
No Mans Sky
Superhot VR
Gorn
Boneworks
Blade & Sorcery
Sairento
Raw Data
Asgard's Wrath
From Other Suns
Robo Recall
Lone Echo
Crisis Vrigade

So yeah, looks like I'm going to give that Index a good workout.

Finally got my Index set up!

Much easier to set up than I was expecting really. I ended up grabbing some camera bulb stands and some ball joint attachments and just putting the base stations onto them in opposite corners of my room. I've set up for Standing/sitting play only for the moment as the room isn't really quite big enough for comfortable floor play.

Am I missing something with Elite Dangerous though? Does it not support VR Controllers? So whilst using a VR headset you still need to use either a keyboard & mouse or an Xbox controller?

Boooo.

I've been playing it lately using an Xbox controller on PC anyway as that's been massively simplified, but it would've been cool using the Index controllers to manually operate things in the cockpit.

At least it looks like No Man's Sky supports VR controllers.

But holding a vr controller to operate a virtual stick is gooseberry fool becuase it's got no tactile feedback. It's gooseberry fool in no man's sky too (I have it). It's much better with a controller of some sort.

I suppose that's true, but I don't have a HOTAS so it's about the best I can get at the moment

Didn't have that, but I suspect that's because I did the stand/sit down set up rather than the moving around the room setup.

Ah ok. Try out the index controller demo thing. It's an aperture science hand tracking demo, I forget what it's called but it's on steam.

Oh nice, I'll give that a try.

I do like the SteamVR homespace Room though. I've only messed with the default one so far, but it looked like people can set up and host all kinds of custom ones. I saw one listed as a Super Mario 64 world which I regret not jumping into.
