Well strawberry float me sideways, just checked CeXs app for the price of them and they have shot up in price compared to the £25 I paid for mine. £48 for the V1 each or £55 each for V2 :dread:

Argos have the Move pack at £69.99 but is it in stock in your area is another matter.

I just went back and checked my posts on Xmas day, as that was when I knew I bought my Aim controller. Couldn't remember exactly how much I paid.
Thegamecollection had the Firewall bundle for £49.99 and I bit.
I remember spending the time between Black Friday and then trawling sites daily thinking I could get some kind of Aim bundle for about £45 or less (not at all unlikely, if you checked historical offers on Hotukdeals, or so I thought), but in the end I gave up waiting.
Now it looks like £50 was still decent.
Can't believe Sony aren't producing more after how well PSVR sold Nov through to Dec end.

Had the quickest of blasts on psvr yesterday. Wow. Love it. Had a quick go on Rez demo, though didn't really know what I was doing. Played Driveclub, which was great, and then Star Wars. But I was looking after my son so couldn't play for very long.

However, the launch screen with the AT-AT was jaw-dropping.

My biggest issue at the moment is that my son just wants to play "Kick the Aliens" (playroom) all the time.

It's brilliant, isn't it?

It's been so long since gaming (or pretty much anything else for that matter, sad to confide) has given me such a genuine "WOAH!" moment.

I'm already inviting friends round just to see their reaction

It might turn out to be in the long term, of course.

Right now, though, I'm so impressed and loving it. Which might be the definition of a gimmick, admittedly.

But I think once the tech is suitably refined so that it doesn't risk making people hoy their lunch up, and once it becomes cheaper, I can't see this going away. I'm already looking for every new game to see if it's compatible, because that's the way I'll want to play it in the first instance.

Then again, I thought the internet and Pokemon were just fads, so what do I know.

My wife, son and I all just played Monster Escape. Might not have a lot of longevity, but it was great fun. Also played the Astrobot Rescue demo mission. I like that there are sociable options for the headset; I'd imagined it being a solely SP experience.

It's a joke, I'm a staunch supporter of VR. I get irate at the 'I can't afford it = it's gooseberry fool and a gimmick' brigade

It's totally gooseberry fool mate. I once saw a guy say he was ill after playing it, so why would I pay that to get sick mate. Plus I bought one of those 3D TVs and it was well crap mate. Total gimmick and load of gooseberry fool and VR is exactly the same so that's why mate.

Ah, I see.

NB, despite expecting to get motion sick it hasn't happened so far, even on Wipeout, but maybe I've been lucky with the games. Just ordered Doom Vfr and the Persistence too, so will see if that changes. Looking like I'll have to import that AIM controller, but couldn't be more excited to try them.

I was thinking today that the PS4 has at least a couple of years being the console Big Dog, and plenty of time to push VR properly before the next gen. If they do, get enough people to try it and carry on supporting it for the PS5 it could be a huge selling point. It would basically make my mind up as to which way I'd go.

I felt a bit of a vertigo-like sensation on Astro Bots, just looking down off the ledges into the abyss. Then you go down a slide at the end and it properly flipped my stomach.

Other than that, I've been pretty sensible - taken you guys' advice - and am hoping to build up gradually.

I've already bumped up against a couple of game demos that require move controllers so considering getting some them if I can find them for less than £80 ish.

Also, I've seen these going as a combo on eBay (not my red fur background) - what can/can't you do with these vs a pair of Moves?

So there's a Groundhog Day game coming to the various VR platforms where you play as Bill Murray's son (Phil Jr) reliving his own day, over and over again.

From the guys who made Rime and the Invisible Hours.

Could be interesting.

Nothing at all with the Nav controller as it doesn't work with PSVR and you need 2 Moves.

Basically rather than have the Aim controller we have on PS4 the PS3 one you'd use both a Move and Nav inside it.
