Arkham VR is probably still my favourite VR experience so far.

Does Superhot need a lot of room to play?

No It's all front biased and you can stand still if you want. Sometimes there's things to either side but never directly behind you.

Managed to somehow convince the wife that tonight is VR night. She thinks we'll be playing lots of Tumble and Playroom, when in fact she's going to be watching me play RE7 for the majority of the evening

I think someones's scared to play it on their own.

(NB me too, I'm cacking it and I haven't even got past the first 15 minutes.)

Not even going to pretend that's not true

I've got as far as walking into the kitchen, then I had to turn it off for reasons that definitely don't involve being too scared why would you assume that who have you been talking to? :shifty:

Just a heads up, Tetris Effect is free to play or a timed demo for the weekend. New PS VR users who don't own the game should give it a try in VR.

I played the timed demo last weekend and really enjoyed it so thanks again for that, wouldn't have known if I hadn't read your post.

As for the game, I mean - it's still just Tetris, but the music and visuals are just fantastic and really make you forget that you're playing the same game you've been playing for the last 25+ (in my case) years. Each section really has its own vibe and visual style, and the little particles that float around really make you feel like you're in this other place.

I wonder if this is what it's like to be dead, just floating through the multiverse playing Tetris forevermore

Your welcome, really is lovely in VR! Just a shame it's in my massive backlog of games. Got a week off work due to surgery but that will likely be spent on Res Evil 2 and PUBG even when I have the intention of playing something different.

Finally a VR/AR headset that doesn't make you look like a total plank when using.

Remember that Google’s glasses? That make people look like dickheads/planks.

So what’s the difference between that and Microsoft’s? None.

If you want VR get one. If you are scared of looking like a plank, then it isn’t for you.

Just let go and have fun.

Is Hololens even VR? Seems more like AR to me.

Also, do you think you look good playing games normally?

I accepted I look like a plank normally, so it never bothered me.

That said, who plays in front of a group of people anyway? I sometimes play in front of my fiancee, or in the room next to her but that's about it. I'm in the comfort of my own home so I really couldn't care less what other people think I look like. Especially when some of it is up there with the most exciting gaming experiences I've ever had.

This. Even the tiniest bit of light leak will ruin VR for me. This clearly isn't VR.

Mate, I look like John Wick playing games.*

*Like a swan.**

**Not really.

HoloLens is much cooler than Google Glasses. Google Glass was just a head mounted display. HoloLens puts holographic images in 3D space.

I mean they both obviously make you look stupid, but at least with HoloLens you are getting something awesome for looking like a plank.

Kingdom Hearts VR Experience was added yesterday (28th) to the UK PS Store, free download reliving memorable scenes throughout the games with more content to come later this year.

Was alone last night so finally decided to try Kitchen. Hahahaha nope strawberry float that.

Got about two minutes in to where the woman appears and pressed the home button and played PES instead. :slol:

Prior to that, I played Dirt VR. Was really enjoying it, and the controls were starting to click, when I started to feel quite ill. Not surprising, really. I just did the entry-level Mini Cross races, so I'll stick to those, in short bursts, until I build a tolerance. I hope I do. :|
