It's actually arrived. Around 11:30, but I had to go down the hospital, again. Feel like I may as well see about renting a room I 'm here that often.

Will open it when I get home and hopefully get a chance to play it. I'd rather play it before the kids come home, but I also have to make a lasagna and have food. The lasagna is ready for tonight, so it's quick to re-heat when the.missus gets home from takingone of the.kids to his piano lesson.

Have you tried VR before? If not can I reccomend one for the experiences like the shark cage thing rather than jumping to something like wipeout. Get your sea legs first so to speak.

I hope, overall, you're okay. Try and play before the kids come in!

Yep, the shark demo has great immersion - literally! May I recommend not sitting on a sofa but a more upright chair - you will really feel you're in a cage to get that sense of wonder. Also, the London Heist.

Will likely play the VR tonight at 9 when the kids are in bed. May or may not stream it. Then again, I have no how long I'd even play it. I may only last a few minutes without feeling ill, or I may be able to go ages. Who knows?

It's very likely you'll be so excited that you'll wake everyone up to have a go.

VR is incredible the first time you try it.

Do you get car sick? If you do, you'll likely suffer with VR on some of the more lively games (as I do :(), but plenty of the "experience" games (and many regular games like Astrobot and Tumble) the motion sickness stuff isn't a problem.

It really is. When I played Ocean Dive as my first VR experience... MAJOR SCENES!

Pedz, I'd recommend trying VR Worlds (Ocean Dive) and Astrobot before you check out Skyrim, Doom and Wipeout. The latter games take a lot more getting used to and, possibly, comfort adjustments.

Stuff where I'm grounded with somehting real for my brain to hold on to like my racing chair in racing games, results in no sickness at all, and I get really bad motion sickness. If I play a standing game and move the character backwards for example, I feel sick. The only game I've nearly thrown up from was that everspace (I think it was called.). strawberry floating horrible. Elite dangerous in my chair with a hotas results in no sickness.

Nah, I don't suffer with travel sickness. Hope, I'll be sorted then.

I got the mega pack, with Ace Combat 7 and a Move controller... I think, hope I read it correctly

Obviously you've got a lot of games to get through there and I'm not saying you should go out and buy all of the following, but there are a number of really good PSVR games that are on sale just for the next couple of days and you should think about perhaps picking them up if you are interested.

Statik - £3.99 (for PS+ subs) normally £15.99. I'd recommend this above a lot of other more well known games, its a really good VR puzzle game and doesn't require 'VR legs' and its a completely stationary VR concept, but it plays around with it very well.

DIRT Rally VR Bundle - £6.49 (normally £39.99). Other end of the spectrum here, this is a more intense experience, but I'd go as far to say that this is the best VR driving game on PSVR. If you already own DIRT Rally, this is cheaper than buying the upgrade.

Wipeout Omega Collection - £9.99 (normally £29.99). Obviously this is just a great game in itself, but if you don't already own it the VR they added to the game as a free update is well worth checking it out for.

Bound - £4.99 (normally £15.99). I think this was PS+ at some point so you might already own it, this is another game which is just PSVR compatible, but it really does add something to play in VR. Well worth a go.

Farpoint - £7.99 (normally £15.99). I'd go as far as to say this is the best PSVR 'VR' experience...but with one caveat, in order to get that experience you really need an AIM controller, seeing as you aren't likely to pick this game up in a bundle with one, getting it digitally and finding the controller another way is probably the best option to play this game.

Of course there are loads of other amazing VR games, these are just the ones I'd recommend that are only on sale till the 4th.

Cheers for that. Will definitely look into them.

I also have 2 move controllers, though not the analogue stick parts. No idea in I need that or what games are best with move, but thought I'd mention it.

The Nav Move controllers (the analogue stick bits) don't work with PS4 anyway.

Actually it looks like I'm wrong, it is compatible, just not used for PSVR games because it can't be tracked.

I am planning on streaming VR, unsure if I'll do my first VR experience streamed. I may do, but I may leave it until the day tomorrow. Thinking it'll be easier when the kids aren't home. While the youngest 2 will be asleep the eldest 2 won't and they may be coming back and forth, as I'll be in the living room.
