I don't really watch singing shows but gave this one a shot and enjoyed it actually.

The Good:
- Rob Becket was well suited to this.
- The pacing was quick and minimal fluff.
- I like the top 3 elimination system with people getting dropped throughout the show.
- A good variety of music genres, and solo/groups
- I like that it's not about record deals, or who will make the most money for Simon Cowell.

Not so good:
- I feel like song choice is more important than anything with getting a good score. Karaoke hits are going to get the judges dancing when a slower or lesser known song might not.
- It would be good if the winner got to sing a second time, not just 2nd and 3rd place.

Twitter and DigitalSpy has been absolutely hilarious, absolute TV Marmite. Now we await the ratings.

Wouldn’t he say nice things about it because it’s an Endemol show, though? :shifty:

Watching this now. It's rather good. Wife likes it too, she was worried about Geri and was going avoid it but she isn't too featured which is nice.

To be fair her role is sort of pointless you could just bin her off with no loss.

You are lucky that it doesn’t clash with Channel 5’s “The Wonderful World Of Puppies”.

Wasn't so keen on that first singer, not sure how she got 96!

Edit: but not as bad as these two!

Puppies on Channel 5? Nothing new there.

I was out last weekend so this was the first time I’ve seen this show. It’s really not my sort of thing, Saturday night “music” shows just aren’t for me.

It was fun enough though, nice bit of tension between the competitors and a few good singers.

Get rid of Geri though, utterly pointless. And less of the backstories for the 100, nobody gives a gooseberry fool.

My missus and little boy loved the show btw! Like I said not my sort of thing, but it definitely has an audience and is one of the better shows of its kind.

Glad you got some enjoyment out of it. Certainly not designed to be everyone's cup of tea!

Yeah I watched fifteen minutes of this yesterday and wasn't a fan. Probably not the target market for it though.

When's season 2 of House Of Games on?

Yeah Geri needs to go she is a pointless addition, get rid of her and take her fee for yourself.

A few months time. Not been in studio yet.

Also the ratings were up. Up! The opposite of down!

You could see Scott's heart break when the other woman (I didn't catch her name) was singing that Heart tune. Alone is an absolute banger, tbf. He didn't stand a chance.

Well for the first time ever - a show I've worked on is being watched by Gogglebox. Tune in tonight to see what they make of All Together Now.

I have no idea what their comments are so they could tear it to shreds. I literally can't wait to see what Giles and Mary make of it all!

I meant to post this last weekend, but I have only just remembered.

My wife loves this show but she said “tell DML that it would be better if the song at the end had a bouncing ball so people can sing along at home”.

There, that’s my duty done and I have no idea if that makes any sense.
