Tonight there is a THQ Nordic showcase, this will be shown at the event. Keen to see this in actual, sounds like it might be one to keep an eye on.

Never played the original so I’d be tempted. It’d write well, I really enjoyed SOMA.

They do say that Doom Jazz is the most memorable of all the forms of Jazz.

I also loved Soma. I am watching Severance on Apple TV at the moment and only last night it had me thinking of playing through it (Soma) again on my PS5 where the fans wont go insane.

Thought the PS1/Dreamcast version (The New Nightmare) released in 2001 was very good, but not too keen on any of the others. This series has always been a bit underutilised and overshadowed by Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

Hope this one includes the ICONIC first-person mode where you have to press a button every few seconds to blink.

Love me some psychological horror so will keep an eye on it. Can't be any worse than the 360 game

I have to ask, what happens if you fail to blink for an extended period of time?

Happy to see it return. I’ve been in love with the series since the second game was released on PS1, and I made a 60-mile round trip to buy it because nowhere nearby had it in stock.

As rough as that game looks in hindsight, nothing will ever compete with the tension of creeping around the gardens. “Morning sir!”, “Hey, you”, as the armed undead goons spotted you. And the greatest game music.

First thoughts were it really reminds me of Evil Within, not much to go on in that trailer but I think it looks interesting.

Not that it’s ever a reliable indicator, but the trailer looks pretty good. Bit weird for the warning at the start to mention “maddening” images. And the frail-voiced girl singing was a little too reminiscent of Go Tell Aunt Rhody from RE7. But otherwise, I’m looking forward to seeing more.

Looked a bit rubbish, although I'm happy that settings and themes are more in line with the originals. Will wait and see but can't see this amounting to much.

Playable Prologue out now - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1938 ... 1100__1100 or https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/ ... 4w1hd36jb0 or https://store.playstation.com/en-us/pro ... MOBUNDLE00

Alone in the Dark Prologue is an atmospheric Playable Teaser for the upcoming re-imagination of Alone in the Dark – the game which gave birth to the survival horror genre.

One of Derceto’s residents, Jeremy Hartwood, has been acting strange lately. He asks Grace to do one simple thing – help him deliver a letter to his niece, Emily Hartwood. She seems to be the only one capable of understanding the otherworldly horrors plaguing Jeremy’s mind.

Grace agrees and embarks on a short yet memorable trip through a wing of Derceto Manor, invaded by a presence which appears to have emerged from the dark depths of the Bayou…

Always a bit weird seeing famous actors in games, but these two are a good fit. Downloading now.

It’s not going to help either Game, that this comes out a week after Alan Wake 2.

Tried the demo and it’s solid enough, feels like something Remedy would make in a way. Liked it though, being as it’s a THQ Nordic game I’ll wait until it reaches the £20 bracket which likely won’t be long.

True. Although I do think anyone buying this over AW2 is certifiably insane.

What if they both contain swords?
