Surely this is old enough to be considered retro right?

I used to love playing this back when I was 14 or so. Might have to re-install it again and see if it's as good as I remember. The manual and technology chart are pretty hectic. Could give the Lord of the Rings books a run for their money.

I liked the demo PC gamer gave me but when a friend gave me the whole game I could never get it working.

Stupid XP compatibility thing. Just installed it but have to download a patch to make it work on XP. Should be done in 20mins according to Firefox. That's a 7MB patch...in 20mins.

I can't get it to run at all on my current PC which is really dissapointing. This is why PC gaming=fail.

I never got it to work either so gave up in the end which is a shame. Hopefully it might be re-released like the old Civ games were.

I apologise if this sounds stupid but... what is it?
