Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. I'm choosing to be cautiously optimistic about this. I think Fallout has a lot of potential for a TV series, and a TV series is absolutely a better choice than a film.

This is never going to live up to my expectations. I just can't see golden era Fallout being successfully translated into a TV show. It definitely could be done but Bethesda have mutilated the Fallout image at this point. I'm expecting a grim, apocalypse show with Marvel style comedy awkwardly squeezed into all the dialogue.

I hope it has janky special effects and any blue ray release has random bugs.
I'd also like an episode where the main character gets hopelessly lost or does a shitload of dull sidequests.

Could be good, will probably be shite but I'm willing to roll the dice on it. It's abundantly clear that Bethesda have no ability or interest to do something of value with the franchise so someone else taking a crack at it in another format can only be a good thing.
