The severe lack of mentions of Luton take it down to a 1/10 rating though

Enjoyable show overall. S1 grabbed me by the first episode (Hughie's girlfriend exploding mainly).

For some reason I dropped off The Boys about five episodes in.

I think it might've been because I always watched it with dinner...

The start of the series is a bit different to the rest so it may not seem like you show you expect. Give it a few episodes and it gets into its stride.

I knew a guy at work who watched the first 30 minutes and said the show wasn't for him and no matter how much I explained that it changes he wouldn't budge which is a shame as the show is amazing with some excellent characters and wow moments.
