Genuinely had me guessing through most of the film, absolutely brilliant.

That final shot.

Yeah I really enjoyed it. I honestly think they couldn't have done anything to make it better.

I've been watching the second season of the Boys I really don't like it as much as the first. It feels like they had a really good premise, vigilantes kill team of seven evil superheroes but then lost their bottle as they didn't want to constantly kill off popular characters and now the show feels like it's in a holding pattern.

Oo, thanks for the heads up. I annoyingly missed this at the cinema and have been eager to watch it.

Awesome, 1917 is getting watched soon then! :toot:

Started The Boys season 1 last night, only watched the first episode so it's early days but so far I'm a little underwhelmed.

Weird, it was definitely marked as free for Prime earlier. Must have been a mistake.

16th December.

INVINCIBLE is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems. From Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead. Coming to Prime Video in 2021.

Also this month, 1917 (for real this time!) on the 16th and the frankly magnificent Parasite on the 23rd.

I'm sure you probably have already, but don't read anything about it. It's superb and made even better for it.

All I know is it's an Oscar winning Korean film.

I assume it's about tapeworms.

It's actually about the place where they do Korean parachute training.

Is Parasite available outside of Amazon, i.e. on the high seas?

I'm sure it is. I looked before but couldn't find one with hardcoded subtitles.

Do we have a thread for The Boys because it bloody deserves one. Season 2 was absolutely incredible. They crammed so much in, I can't believe the season is over already! Easily the best series Amazon have commissioned.
