I've also done that, self published a few plays (of varying quality, they were all written in my early/mid 20's and so were never going to be mastepieces anyways), and i did photo yearbooks for a time (i only stopped those after delaying the 2016 one due to losing my dad, and after that i never really felt like doing another).

One photo book i made of my local area did actually end up on sale in the local bookshop which was neat.

Ah, nice. Always good to see your stuff out in the wild.

I has always wanted to get all the old music my band did in the early 90's onto streaming services, even if for just friends and family, and I achieved that a couple of years back. Even if it's only me and the bass player that listen to it sometimes!

I've been writing piano music for years and that's the next thing I'd really like to share with the world. I've had one piece transcribed professionally and I'd like to get more done, but I'm stuck in the 'but it's not quite finished' trap which I need to get out of. My dream is that people would listen to, enjoy and then learn to play them. One day...... !

You can count me among one of those people!

I've got a few pieces, some sort of finished-ish, that I transcribed using an app called iWriteMusic. Not perfect, but certainly good enough to read from if you've got a decent-sized tablet...

Very recently I've been considering trying pickled walnuts.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Currently I want to do the following in the next 4 Years

Make a short 8 to 10 minute horror film

Make a New Years special YouTube Video where I review the whole year

Make a audio Commentary where I talk over the original Night of the Living Dead

None of these are that big and most people would think there silly but what about everyone else ?

Based on the previous track record that I know of (YouTube videos, stand-up comedy etc) I'm sure you'll manifest much of this and really admire your productivity in general :D

I was about to ask what the name of the band was, but then saw your signature. I'll check it out.

Edit:

I'm listening to "Something Going On". It could do with more proboscidea.

 True, I remember the 'more tusk' comments when we were in the studio. These uploaded tracks are cleaned up/re-EQ'd audio tapes so there is some 'lack' in the recording quality. I did the best I could with the source!

There's a couple of tracks that sound straight out of blue skies era sega arcade games.

Our drummer always referred to "Funky Chicken" as "That Sonic the Hedgehog one"

Which tracks do you mean?

If you don't mind, pickles gerkins, pickled onions, pickled cabage and pickled eggs would go down a treat!
