Thanks for sharing the info, Dragon - I like the idea of using amiibo / cards to change the player character. I'm gonna give this a go on my U at some point during the weekend .

I don't think that cards will change the playable character, as only the ten in that image are playable, but it's still fun to switch between them from the menu.

They look great! I'm still amazed Monster Hunter Stories is for the original 3DS, it looks gorgeous. Hopefully we don't have to wait very long for it.

Those Final Fantasy figures look amazing, although they're not attached to the standard amiibo bases. I wonder if amiibo will branch out into these more exotic kinds of figures?

In other amiibo news, the squid sisters amiibo are now available to pre-order from the Nintendo store, the twin pack has sold out but both are available individually
