Bayonetta amiibo announced by Platinum Games.

I’m afraid that this little taste is all I can give you right now, since we’re still working hard to get her just right. But I assure you that we’re going to capture everything you know and love about Bayonetta – every detail down to the exact sizes of her glasses and eyes – and bring you an amiibo that’ll meet your every expectation

Dunno if this is desirable/hard to find anymore. But I've seen a Mario 30th anniversary amiibo on gumtree about a mile from my house. Sealed and mint allegedly.

If anyone wants it, I'm happy to collect it and post it to you. :)

That's a nice gesture, dude. I'm off the pace on amiibo now, but I don't think any of them are that rare at the moment. After the initial under-stocking, most figures seem reasonably easy to pick up now.

I suspect that many folk have bought them and kept them as collectibles rather than using them as toys, meaning that the value probably won't go up that much.

The last figures I bought were the Splatoon ones (the early versions, not the re-colours) and they look pretty neat.

When I was in game a few weeks back they were doing all amiibo as 3 for 2.

The latest Zelda (Ocarina Link and Wind Waker Link in particular) ones and the Breath of the Wild ones coming up don't appear to be available to purchase at a reasonable price anywhere at the moment.

Sainsburys are selling all the those ones plus the other 30th Anniversary Zelda collection ones for £9.99.

Argos are also selling that Mario 30th anniversary amiibo for £10.99.

True, HSH, the new Zelda ones have sold out their pre-order stocks at a few places, but I suspect that they'll be easy to pick up a few weeks after launch. Nintendo seems to have slipped into a regular pattern of under-supply in order to build up a "I must pre-order!" mentality, but this just masks some fairly low overall sales figures. amiibo sales are still ticking over but substantially down on their early years... partly, I suspect, because Nintendo has not really done anything exciting with them in terms of functionality. Most folk want to tap the figure in-game to play as that figure... not, say, get a few fish falling from the sky.

The Zelda anniversary set seem to have been fairly hard to pick up, couldn't find the Ocarina Link anywhere and ended up importing. Amazon never even seem to have listed him through themselves and the official Nintendo store sold out last year and hasn't restocked.

The others have all been available relatively cheap though, I've managed to pick up almost the entire Animal Crossing set over the last week for an average of £3-5 each.

I do think its about time on Switch that we got a game that is actually an Amiibo based sandbox type game like the other toys-to-life type games. I love that they have functionality in multiple games but it'd be nice to see a dedicated game based around them.

Where? Its no use to me if one shop somewhere has them.

The West Hove store has them so I would assume that other largish Sainsburys that sells games has them too.

Does anyone know what Nintendo are like at restocking these?

I want some of the BOTW Amiibo but they're sold out everywhere apart from scalpers.

Don't buy off scalpers...the popular Amiibos are usually restocked quite regularly.

I'm in Germany a few times a month, and Amiibos which are rare and expensive over here, are available in huge quantities in German shops!

So my advice is to wait...Nintendo want your money, and will do everything they can to get the Zelda Amiibos back in stock asap.

Edit - as an example - the Yoshi woollen Amiibos were going for 2x the asking price in the first month after release - a few months later they were being discounted!

Cheers, I'm in Vienna at the end of the month so will maybe try and find a games shop.

Rumour has it the Zelda Amiibos are all getting restocked at the end of the month.
