Now after looking at the Pocophone, but a little put by some of the sites selling it with 'questionable' reviews I'm looking at the Honor 8X which seems to be a great price and looks pretty slick. But think I'd want to handle it first as it is a bit bigger than any phone I've had before.

A work colleague just bought that, she's very pleased with it.

I got my new phone today, the Asus Zenfone 4 Pro, pretty happy with it so far, I'm so glad to have a phone with actual navigation bar buttons rather than the on screen ones that every single manufacturer seem to use now so they can say their screens are ever slightly so much bigger. :x

What's the point when you just need to pin the navigation bar to your screen anyways?!

Doesn't every phone have buttons for some function or another?

I meant more the front 3 (home, back and apps) it's a massive waste if space and looks ugly

Can anyone recommend some Bluetooth headphones?

Ideally ones that don't go into your ear as I find them really uncomfortable.

I have these

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M32OZGY/ ... 7Bb5VPFMCY

Have had my set for a couple of years and they work great and are properly waterproof (have been through washing machine and tumble dryer a few times)

Technically they go on earth but don't get held in by that so more rest there than are wedged.

Yes, so did I. This is what the phone I got looks like...

How is it a waste of space when those buttons need to be there virtually all the time anyways? Initially I got the Zenfone 5q which doesn't have the buttons so I had to pin them there, but some apps overwrite that, and then instead of being able to switch apps with just one press you need to go back through several screens until they reappear. I'd rather have a slightly smaller screen with the physical buttons any day.

When an app hides them like a game or something you swipe up from whatever the bottom of the screen is at that point and it brings them back.

It is so much better having them on the screen, it means more screen and means they are always at then bottom of the screen no matter the orientation.

Anyone got much experience with Honor or Huwaie? I'm looking to get a new phone and they have some good prices for the Honor 9 Lite and the Huwaie P20 in the sales.

I know I love the OP phones but didn't feel that the 6T was pushing the brand enough I'll be keeping a close eye on them.

Most modern phones have the virtual buttons right at the bottom edge of the screen.

People have always wanted bigger screens, but have also always wanted smaller phones.

This is the natural solution to that allowing for dynamic navigation such as hiding the buttons when playing games or watching video.

It also allows for the redesign of the navigation buttons, such as the upcoming Samsung update

Had a Honor for a while was great for cheap phone. I now have it as a spare.
Although it did come with a load of Huawei software that cannot be removed which a little annoying but they generally get good reviews.

Been offered a free upgrade by o2.

Currently on a two year OnePlus 3T - which apart from the battery life decaying, I'm still happy with.
I just can't decide between the OnePlus 6, or splash the extra on the 6T.. is it worth the extra?
