Should've just kept the top bezel.

Nah that looks nice I reckon. More screen's always good.

Apparently there's a software option to basically reduce the screen resolution so there's a black bar where the camera is if you want.
I'd hope it kicks in automatically when watching full screen videos or using non-Samsung apps that won't be aware of the camera.

That is infinitely better than anything with a strawberry floating notch. Looks a pain to use though.

Looks alright but I bet it'll cost a grand which I still say is too much for a phone.

Would be a nice upgrade from my s7, but it just doesn't need it. Battery life now being gooseberry fool aside, the rest of it runs as fast as the day I got it. I barely use apps anyway so it's not like compatibility is any issue either.

Still, new stuff and a 3.5mm jack are nice.

I wish they still did replaceable batteries, my s8+ is absolutely fine except the battery is getting rapidly more crippled.

Still perfectly happy with my OP3T. As fast as the day I got it, battery life, despite getting caned day in, day out, is fine.

My wife recently binned her dying iPhone 6s and replaced it with the evil Chinese spy machine AKA the Huawei P20. It's a pretty nice phone from what I've seen of it.

She was really worried about switching operating systems after many years of iOS indoctrination, but that's quickly dissipated and she's now a full-on conscript into the glorious Android army :toot:

I don't think I will ever understand Apple-loyalists. They intentionally update their hardware to effectively brick your devices every few years, meaning you've got to spend about 50% more than you should have to on a new one (just because it's Apple). They lock their devices down steadfastly so you can't install anything not on the App store, use shoddy hardware and their battery life is absolutely shocking.

By way of comparison, Android is cheaper to purchase, has slightly better hardware, allows you freedom to install whatever you want with a few presses including open-source apps and is a more versatile product.

It's pure stupidity or the belief that it makes them look wealthier by this point.

P20 seems a good choice. Guy at work has had one for a few months and says it's brilliant.

I'm still a OnePlus fanboy .

Non removable batteries are the price to pay for water resistant phones unfortunately. They literally have to glue the phone in.

I wish there was an option to have a removable battery in place of it being waterproof, because it doesn't matter one bit to me.

Don't suppose anyone's interested in my old OnePlus 3t before it gets sent to one of those phone recycling places?

Mazuma Mobile offer is £95. Any takers?

Only really upgraded because I wanted a new toy.
Still fast to use, battery still lasts a day without any problem.
Still have the box and original gubbins.

If it’s the A3010 version you can get 165 from EE recycle.
