Just swapped out the official Twitter app for Plume. What a difference an app makes!

I just use the official app, don't have any issues with it so don't see a need to change.

I have a question regarding VPNs. There is something on the UK amazon site that I want on my Kindle App, however, as I'm in Germany it isn't allowing me. I know there are a bunch of VPN apps available, I'm just curious if using one would get round this problem? If so, any recommendations (free)? Ta

There seems to be rather a lot of reports on Twitter of review units of the Samsung Fold breaking.

I'm shocked that the first generation of foldable screen would have issues, shocked and surprised.

These aren't going to he worth looking at for probably 2 generations and even then they will probably still be bulky and that.

Hello my virtual currency.

Yes, this will get round that provided the node you connect to says you're in the country that you want the provider to think you're in.

Most VPN providers allow you to select the country you want to appear to be in -within reason.

I used ExpressVPN, it's not free but I never have problems with it and I bought a year subscription during Black Friday which made it reasonable.

You could always just ask someone in the UK to purchase it for you and gift it to you.

I am surprised by this peelable film that apparently isn't supposed to be peeled off, despite it looking extremely similar to the protective one you get on the majority of electronics. That seems like a major oversight by Samsung.

When is that Samsung foldable one due out? It's just the review units strawberry floating up so you'd imagine they're scrambling to get it sorted for the proper launch.

Got myself the Doogee Y8 from Amazon for £76.

Good for the price, no way it compares to the Galaxys and iPhones. (Though that's on no gooseberry fool sherlock)

Anyone thinking of getting a new Huawei phone, I wouldn’t bother for now.

Their new phones will lose access to the play store and Android. The current phones won’t get any future android updates.

That's very annoying as I got my Huawei for Christmas and hoped it would last 2 years. Now I might have to upgrade this Christmas to the latest pixel.

Any tips for a new phone now that Huawaii have been killed? Looking for a mid range phone, or last years high range. £200-400 something like that.

Not so much a 'deal', but you can get a free Acer Chromebook when you buy a Pixel 3A at the regular retail price which you could then flog on eBay.

Wow, thsts a pretty good deal, cheers.

Bit odd how you have to wait though.

So when it says you need a digital cop of proof of purchase does thst mean zi have to buy it online? Or can I just take a picture of my receipt?

I suspect the wait is so you don't claim the chromebook immediately then return the phone for a refund since online orders have a legal 14 day any reason return period if unopened

I'd expect digital copy just means like a scanned copy of your receipt or something since you have to upload it rather than post in a copy. Currys will now e-mail you a copy of your receipt for in-store purchases if you ask them as well.

Hey guys.

I need to set an alarm for ever and eternity on the work phone.

I need it to chime, once an hour at 20 past the hour, for ever and eternity.

I've tried using alarms and countless aps, but non seem to allow this feature. Can anyone recommend an app that will actually do this?

It's not that complicated, it seems very logical to me.

And yes I did try setting 24 alarms on repeat daily at 20 past the hour, unfortunately, the phone can only store 20 alarms. :fp: :fp: :fp:
