Yeah I was considering a refurb but I needed a phone quickly and there was just a few more factors to have to weigh up and I was getting decision fatigue and just wanted it done.

That said, having pulled the trigger quickly I am liking this M31 a lot! A little bigger than I'd like but I think that's the state of phones these days, and one handed mode will probably be useful if I remember that's a thing and develop the muscle memory.

This latest chrome update is incredibly annoying. It seems to open a tab within a tab and takes up a bit of room in the bottom of the screen. Undo. Undo. :dread:

I've switched to using Edge as my main browser on Android. Chrome was getting naff a while ago, then I tried Firefox Android for a while but it whilst it was better than Chrome privacy wise, usability wise it was god awful.

Mine arrived yesterday, although I didn't set it up until this afternoon as my case for it hadn't arrived and I didn't want to take it to work without a case as I feared that I wouild drop it.
Impressed with it so far, although I've changed the way to switch it off as the default option is to press and hold the volume down and power buttons together. Also switched Bixby off as I don't like it.

I didn't end up getting an S21 as I was caught up in a wave of people on the Samsung Upgrade Programme caught in a glitch with Klarna where it just rejected you without any reason.

Decided I was going to keep my S20 for a bit longer then see what comes out this year on the Flip/Fold Galaxy Z line and possibly jump over to those.

I've not got a case, I didn't use one on my S10+ and it has been fine, also the 21 ultra is chunky enough as it is without adding to it.

The camera seems epic so far, the zoom is incredible, really looking forward to getting to go somewhere other my local area to test it out properly.

I've encountered an issue with my Pixel 3a

When it gets down to around 30-40% the phone will think the battery is low and display it as something really low (for example all day yesterday it showed it as 6%

I confirmed the actual battery percentage by plugging it in as it jumped back to 40 in less than a minute

While I was out running the phone turned itself off while it was in my pocket saying it was empty. I plugged it in when I got home and it's up to 50% in like 5 minutes.

I usually use my switch lite cable to also charge my phone but have never had any battery related issues.

Only seems to have started happening since the last software update

Does anyone know anything about this?

Has anyone else ever had dealings with 'Three 3' ??

I think they may very well be one of the worst companies I've ever had dealings with. How these are a major network absolutely baffles me. Awful awful awful company.

Sounds like the battery needs replacing.

I left those errors in deliberately because I wanted to ask about an alternative to SwiftKey. I was using Swype but it's been taken off the store. SwiftKey's flow mode is awful! Any tips to fix SwiftKey or alternative programs?

Same, and I find it works fine 95% of the time. I used to use Swype back in the day, but stopped getting it when Google implemented their own version and haven't looked back.

Sometimes I feel like I'm alone in still tapping the normal phone keyboard.
