My OnePlus 3T (purchased Dec 2016) is still incredibly durable in terms of battery. I use it all day at work (Spotify, podcasts, social media, YouTube) and it'll still only use up to 30-40%.

My OP3 battery is fine as well and that was bought on release. If I do have issues with the battery I can change it quite easily.

My S9+ has been off charge since waking up at 6:20am and is still on 67% that's with WIFI and Bluetooth on and my Gear S3 Frontier and Sony Bluetooth ear phones being connected.

It's why I can never work out how some people manage to keep phones for like 4 years+ or when they are debating which phone to get next are saying things like "but they only supported their last phone for 3 years, I don't want that risk" - how are you even getting 3 years out of it!? Since the smartphone era began I don't think I've had a single device that has stood up to more than 2 years of usage without becoming too much of a burden to keep going longer.

I find those people are the types that don’t install apps, use the web version of services via the built in browser or chrome so there is next to no background process going on and so very little background usage when the phone is locked.

Yeah, this is what I do. In terms of actual use my phones are used regularly. I had my Nexus 6 for maybe 4 years and it was till lasting between a day and a day ad a half between charges. My main reason for upgrading was for a better camera. The Nexus 6 was great for day shots an absolute nightmare for night time shots. If it wasn't for the camera I think I could have eked another year out of it

Has anyone got a Samsung Tab S3 and got any advice on a cable for USB-C to HDMI for it?
My dad bought a cheap generic one but it didn't work, and I bought the official Samsung DeX cable but the S3 doesn't support it, only the S4.

I don't know what the strawberry float is going on with my Note 10 plus but everyday there seems to be new scratches on the screen. I haven't done anything with it that I didn't with my 9+ which was immaculate when I traded it in, I haven't dropped it yet it looks like gooseberry fool. Today there is a scratch that is visible wth the screen is on which is really strawberry floating annoying.

Can someone please help me

Been trying to connect my 1TB external hard drive to my Pixel 3 but every time that I do it says it's trying to read it and then the phone turns off and it just shows the Google loading logo for absolutely ages.

All I want to do is transfer some files from my PS4 why is it so complicated T_T

Dunno I mean the light goes on on the hard drive and stays on.

I guess I'll just have to buy a cheap flash drive to transfer stuff.

First time I plugged it in it asked to format it. Took a few hours and did the google loading thing then the next time I plugged it in it said it was checking the disk drive them just did the google loading thing again.

Didn't let it finish because I didn't have potentially another 3 hours to wait.

And after I had formatted it I put some files from my PS4 on the drive. So it's definitely compatable with both.

You were formatting a drive and didn't let it finish? This seemed like a good idea to you?

No I let the drive format finish.

When I plugged it in AFTER the format it said it was checking/reading the drive and then just randomly went to the G loading screen without me pressing anything

Got my S20+ yesterday, nice so far but not a mind blowing upgrade over the S10.

Now to claim my free Buds+ and flog them.

What’s the front facing camera like, particularly inside with a light on? I found it awful on the S10 so I sent it back.

What's your budget? Any particular features necessary or not?
