I'll probably bite around that price since I'm getting tired of the daily battle that is charging my OnePlus 5T.

The missus hates the size of phones these days, with ladies smaller pockets she is forever dropping her phones and getting them damaged.

The iPhone 4S was the perfect size for her back in the day, pocket sized but without compromising on features.
Is there anything a similar size out on the market at the moment, without having to resort to getting some shitty spec prison phone?

Have you looked at the iPhone 12 mini?

I was hoping to keep to Android, but I think that actually fits the bill perfectly. Good shout dude.

Presumably we can move her Google Photos over to iOS easily enough? She's only ever bothered about keeping her photos.

There's an iOS version of the Google Photo app, so I imagine they'll just back up on the cloud.

You need to side load it as it isn't on the play store any more.

Got my pixel 4a today. Lovely little phone. Really easy to set up. Does everything I need and got it for £268 thanks to Google birthday sale.

Pixel 6 might wind up being cheaper than expected.

Only reason I'd probably avoid the Pro is the size. The Pixel 6's 6.4" is already going to be pushing what I consider usable.

I'm still rocking the Galaxy Note 9 from August 2018 (paid £899 :dread:) . It had an amazing battery at the time but it drains so fast now that it's just getting annoying having to worry about it. If there was an official and easy way to get a fresh battery installed, I reckon I'd be fine for another couple of years easily.

The last few official Google phones have been expensive and yet lacking flagship level specs but Pixel 6 is looking like a substantial improvement and without being sold at flagship prices. The Nexus 6P was my last one and that came out in 2015 and pre-dates the rename from Nexus to Pixel. Very tempted to treat myself (the alternative is to hold off till spring when the next Galaxy launches, I've no interest in folding phones for now).

I'm hoping that Google will support each Pixel for longer than they did their Nexus line.

I have the pixel 5 and love it. Really like the look of the pixel 6 but don't want to pay through the nose to upgrade so early. Also they've yet to confirm if pixel 6 owners will get free Google photo storage or not. They would be a big loss if I upgraded.

£599 for the Pixel 6 is certainly tempting but a review embargo and the rumours of the Google Tensor chip being a bit underwhelming is somewhat concerning.

No way does the Pixel 6 Pro have £250 worth of extra features either.

Yeah, someone published their rules for posting reviews so I'd probably await full reviews before pulling the trigger.

I'm sure it'll be a better phone than the Pixel 5 and the price is completely reasonable, but, it'd be nice to hear what Tensor is capable of before pre-ordering.

I'm loving the look and the size of the Pro but I'm not convinced it's worth that much more than that standard Pixel 6. I'll hang on for the reviews I think

Google Built the Pixel 6 Camera to Better Portray People With Darker Skin Tones. Does It?

The new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro claim to have the ‘world’s most inclusive camera.’ Here’s how it stacks up against Samsung’s Galaxy S21 and Apple’s iPhone 13 Mini

If the paywall kicks in this link should work instead:

The Samsung pics look like someone accidentally left on the smoothing filter, far too much smoothing. Pixel looks the clear winner. iPhone in a comfortable 2nd place.

Samsung cameras have looked like they have an enforced smoothing filter on for years now. It’s very odd.

I love my pixel5 and really want the pixel 6 but don’t want to lose access to free Google photo storage. I can’t believe they’ve scrapped it for new pixel phones.

My Pixel 2 Camera has suddenly stopped working and seems it's been the case for a lot of people with different Pixel phones. I love the Pixel and Nexus devices but I'm fed up of them just suddenly breaking down with some software change
