Hi

I thought someone on here might have done this or know more about it....

I got my fiancee a cart only copy of Animal crossing new leaf for the 3ds 6 months ago-ish.... now its dropped in price to like £16 to download the same game she wants to download it so that she doesn't have to keep the cart in the machine. If she downloads animal crossing is there a way to get the save file with her village and progress off the cart and use it on the downloaded copy, if so how easy is it to do etc?

There's the Save Data Transfer tool but you need to have both the cart and the download version available at the same time and it deletes your save data from the cart https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/Nint ... 40824.html
