Thanks again shy guy, always a pleasure. The island's natural environment is lovely as ever - mine on the other hand is still lacking in that department, according to Isabelle. :fp:

Isabelle is always telling me that I have too many trees. Clearly it is impossible to have too many trees so I have to ignore Isabelle and settle for a 4* island :-(

This is where I am with that. Also its rained most of the time for the last week so I'm overrun with flowers again. Hate that I can't just run over them so I have to keep making shovels zzzzzzzz

The tree limit is annoying, ideally my island would be overrun with trees but for some reason it’s not seen as a good thing :( re flowers, either fence them in where you can or put self made grass pattern tiles down on the border of flowers (or paths) as they won’t be able to grow on them and won’t be able to expand out of control across your island.

For me, it's been a case of not having enough flowers or trees - for ages Isabelle has suggested that we need more flowers or more trees, with no end in sight as of yet.

Rakoon cleared out the entire shop (save for one item) and I gathered a few conches from the beach for crafting purposes, but nobody plucked any flowers as far as I'm aware.

Thank you

The lawyers also came around and you have been sent compensation for the flowers (they should have grown back today) - sorry! I didn't think you'd notice :shifty:

Repairing your shovel by customising it is easier, so that it never breaks. Or just buy shovels from the shop rather than crafting them.

I got a recipe for a black tulip wreath last week, but I only have the one black tulip on my island so getting 10 flowers for the recipe was taking a while. I couldn't resist taking the last few I needed!

I will ask next time though.

Also my museum is now 9 pieces away from completion by my count! (I thought it was 8 but then I spotted another space)

I’ve sort of give up on this and it’s a shame as I loved it, especially during the first lockdown it got me through the entire period.

I just feel there’s not much more to do anymore. Maybe I just need a break from it to be honest?

What I've done, if there are flower beds on my island that have grown as much as I'd want them to, is used custom designs and pasted them onto the ground on the 'edge' tiles, so that it's impossible for new flowers to ever spawn. You can find some good, subtle, natural-looking custom designs easily enough online.

Redd was at my island after weeks of no shows, came with 3 fake and a real Jolly painting (which I didn’t get as I think everyone has that by now ), typical Redd :fp:

Most definitely lucky, although I was desperate for OR to clear my name after the tulip incident.

Meanwhile, Bixter finally has its 5* rating! Looking forward to showering some of my black roses with gold. :toot:
