haha, easily done! I did the same when I started - I'd recommend using the Nook Miles ticket and the shovel (on 0 strength) to get 8 drops from every rock on the deserted islands whileyou wait for your rocks to come back.

And don't forget that one of the rocks on your island will spit out bells when whacked, giving you 16,100 per day if you get all 8 drops ;)

Yea I found that today, did not see that coming.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I've got up to the highest point now and am now trying to get those fish that are gonna disappear.

Is there any way of getting a better bait that forces rarer fish to spawn? I'm decimating my island's manilla clam population and all I'm getting are bitterlings and crucian carps :dread: (trying to catch the sturgeon before it disappears forever)

also when do I get unbreakable tools good lord

Heads up, if you want to get the golden axe then I would advise only crafting flimsy axes as you get it once 100 axes have broken

Idk why you wouldn't be doing this anyway considering there's a nook miles for breaking tools

It's a pain in the arse having to go back and recraft them tho.

Also here's my friend code for anyone who wants to come grab some pears.

I ordered a couple of clothing items from the terminal in the shop and it said it'd be delivered shortly - how long does it normally take? I've been waiting about 3 hours so far...

If it's anything like the previous games it'll be the next day (but can't confirm for this one!).

Really annoying how crafting from a workbench in your house doesn't just use what's in your storage.

Flowers are something i have never really focused on in all my years with AC. They never give a big payout right? They are really just for decorative purposes? And if you plant some near others you can get hybrids?

Using flimsy is most efficient but it's too much of a chore, I'd rather take the hit on efficiency and have more fun crafting replacement tools less often tbh

I understand that Jezo and sub-optimal play don't really mix though ;)

Yeah the crafting could do with some QOL changes - using stuff from storage, less confirmation dialogues, and letting you craft multiples/in bulk would be really appreciated. I do like that hammering A will speed up the animation, and don't mind that so much apart from when I have to do it too many times in a row.

I haven't the faintest clue how hybrids work, but the flowers I have planted seem of most benefit in acting as spawn points for bugs.

Interesting. I had never considered that. So different flower types/colours attract different bugs? Now you mention that I do remember catching a lady bug the other day on a red tulip.

Ok so, my daughter likes this...or at least the look of it. She already has Stardew Valley on the switch and as a New Leaf owner myself, how different is this to previous AC games if at all? (I know you can only have 1 account per switch too)

Instead of having dominion over just your house and some features around town, you can customise the whole island as you see fit.
