Got Raymond in my campsite today, he's moving in to replace Olaf. I don't even like him, I just want the bragging rights

Final loan paid off :toot:

Didn’t need to mind but still got 2.8 millions in the bank doing sod all after paying it off, in previous games bells seemed to be needed a lot more due to having to buy the furniture rather than just crafting a lot of the stuff for free.

I also did that a while back, I honestly think they’ve whacked up the price for normal items just so your bank balance depletes every now and then, even then it’s easy to make 95k in a day should you wish.

I have a Vladimir from New Eton at Halesowen. Can the owner of said Vladimir come pick him up before he gets too comfortable?

Joking, of course. I'm sure we'll get along just fine.

Has anyone had any luck finding the haunted paintings from Redd? Is it just a case of buying a fake and then seeing how it reacts at night or is there a way of finding out before you buy it? Wondering if I'm going to have to delve into the AC black market to get my hands on them :shifty:

All I know is that the Wistful painting (The girl with the pearl earring) has a star earring on when it's fake and will open and close her eyes. I can't remember the others. I know one of the fake statues glows in the dark too but I can't remember which one it is!

So I'm visiting a certain town via the Dream Suite at the moment...

DA- 1254-1317-4420 - Purgatory by Evil Imp, who some may already know for their work on short movies and movie trailers by designing clever and often elaborate sets in the game - it's really quite creative if a little unnerving. Thoroughly recommend visiting when you get the chance.

So my gf had a meteor shower and we both wished on lots of stars. Then the following day we were quite busy and neither of us ended up playing. We played the following day and there were no star fragments on our beaches. None at all. This game just gets worse and worse the more you play it. Anyone else found you can only get star fragments the day after wishing on stars?

Just doesn't make sense to me, like it's so incongruent with the general rules in Animal Crossing on time-based events and how items are treated outside. I assumed star fragments just showed up on beaches on a time lock of the following day and are then stacked if there's not enough space on the beach and continually distributed over time as space is freed up. I think through observation this much is true. But apparently this stack is wiped after the first day after you wished on stars. Just feel cheated out of my star fragments; one of the few mildly interesting things left in this game imo.
