While I’m not fussed about any of the pre order bonuses, I’m really undecided on whether to go physical or digital for New Horizons. It’ll definitely be the kind of game that you want to hand nearly all the time so you can jump and out for events etc but unless it’s digital only I always go physical for nostalgias sake.

I'm totes digital for PS4 gaming but I was originally going down the boxed cartridge route with Switch games... although I've gradually been turning to download versions here, too. I played Animal Crossing digitally on 3DS and I'm now close to cancelling my Switch pre-order and choosing the download version instead.

Think I'll be getting this Digital, like a lot of you being able to just boot it up whenever without needing the cartridge is ideal for this game.

I'll stick to £38 sans physical tat. :datass:

Like everyone else has said, it's one of those that has to be digital. No faffing with cartridges, dive straight in. I bought MK8 and Smash digital for the same reason.

Take it they’ve not released the game size yet? If possible I’d want it on my actual Switch, that way I won’t have to re-download if I need to buy a second SD card.

The file size is still TBA, Robbo, but I'd anticipate it being fairly small. No big video sequences... I reckon it'll be around 5gb.

Don’t we normally get new console designs/themes announced in directs? Seems odd when we feel on the cusp of a direct that they’ve announced this out of the relative blue.

That looks so good. I wonder if the actual AC game is included? I suspect that it may not be... the console is scheduled to launch a week before the game release date.

I'd be comfortable with that! I do wonder if the game will be a separate purchase, though; rather like when Nintendo's Pokémon 3DS and Switch custom systems didn't actually include the Pokémon game.
