I'm already wondering what the August update is! Hopefully it's not another photo island thing (the wedding event was okay, but it went on for what seemed to be forever). I want Brewster back!

August will hopefully have fireworks every Saturday evening as in past games, hopefully September will have the harvest moon in there in some way (loved it in the GC version how you had to go to the large pond to see the reflection of the huge moon as you couldn’t look up to the sky!), October is obviously the best event in Animal Crossing, Halloween

That's if they do halloween. They missed april fools day and Blanca the cat this year!

Haven't located any pearls yet but I was only in the water for about 15 minutes. Lovely to see Pascal again also.

...However, I've encountered a bug where I'm unable to cross one of my bridges. Not sure if this is to do with the latest update but there seems to be something in the middle blocking my path. I pulled out my ladder and pressed A, giving me a message saying it would be dangerous to ascend any higher.

Maybe one of my villagers is sitting there under an invisibility cloak. The town did seem quite empty today; three of my eight villagers were nowhere to be found, which I thought seemed unusual. Can anyone relate?

They better do! Not really a fan of Halloween in real life but I’ve always loved it in Animal Crossing! New Leaf really aced it with the masks and finding out which would scare which villager in the weeks beforehand!

I’d forgotten how great Pascal is as well, although he said he left me a recipe but there was nothing there?

He should have left it in your pockets! He gave me a mermaid dresser recipe.

OrangeRKN wrote:I like the new perspective it gives on your island, being able to see the coast from afar. I think they've missed a trick by not having a "secret" island off the coast, that would have been fun as another area to decorate/terraform. The swimming might be a little slow too, but the game is just slow paced so I can live with it.

I like that putting on the wetsuit doesn't unequip your clothing, but I wish it auto-hid your hat. Looks weird swimming with a cap on!

you should try it with a back pack

No, but I'll certainly grab a screenshot of the text that says I can't ascend any higher and post it here tomorrow.

Isabelle is literally one of the worst things about this game. Is her section meant to mask a loading screen?

Considering how long the actual loading screen is before Isabelle even appears I really hope not  It's so slow!

Question - is there a way I can have an outfit on display if it's made up of a couple of items, instead of just being a one-piece?

I know you can hang things like the formula 1 outfit on the wall, but I want to have my complete samurai set on display - is that possible?

i think youd need a mannequin, if theyre still in the game which as far as i can tell they are not

Anyone have a turnip price over 100? I spent pretty much all my bells last Sunday on turnips and my prices have been garbage all week! Currently at 65.... :x

It comes across a bit chibified but you can place a top on the floor in front of a wall and then a hat on the wall behind it so it clips through. Far from perfect but best you can do I think

Or just hang it all up on the wall I guess?
