100 million is amazing

I have 19 million now as I've slowly been going up, but now I don't need to fish or catch bugs or sea creatures most of my income has disappeared. Just selling shells every day and whatever items get foisted on me!

Hit my 300 active days today! 4 more requests to complete until I hit that final nook mile goal too, and then I really won't have much left.

Tomorrow night, in my island visitation slot (7-8pm) I will be hosting our second game of hide and seek! Last time was brilliant and I'm hoping we get more of a turnout this time round!

Here are the revised rules!
Rules:
1) No hiding behind the shops or museum.
2) No hiding inside any buildings whatsoever.
3) Once you are in your hiding spot you cannot move from there until either you are found or time is up.
4) Found villagers must go to the plaza until the game ends. They cannot give any clues to the finder.
5) Each round of hiding will be 10 minutes long, or quicker depending on if the finder finds everyone.
6) People will have three minutes to hide before the finder can start finding everyone. The finder will be inside my house until those minutes are up so they cannot watch anyone hide.
7) The person who is on will be decided by number wheel, which will be next to the able sisters shop. People will be numbered as they arrive.
8) No swimming. You must be hiding on dry land for the entire game.

Prizes:
There will be prizes for each category, which are:
1) Winner winner chicken dinner :D - found everyone within the time limit
2) You found me? How? :fp: - first person found in each game
3) So where was I then? :?: - person isn't found for that game

Prizes will be sent by post!

Last game was a blast with the 4 of us, hopefully we can get more playing for more fun! We managed 3 rounds last time in an hour. Don't worry about bringing or buying timers as I have 5 spare!

So even though jawa and I are Switch friends, and have met in game, we cannot send one another post. Nintendo  :fp:

You should be able to if you've met in-game. Is he just not on your list?

He isn't, no. Is that indicative of something else? We've never visited one another's islands (We met on Tsunade's)

Hey, Dan! Yeah, although we're friends on Switch and in Animal Crossing, I *think* we have to become "best friends" in AC to be able to send each other letters!

To do this, we both need to be playing AC and one of us sends the other a "best friend" request via the Nook phone. After the other person accepts, we should then be able to message each other.

Nah you don't. Best friends is for sending instant messages, not letters. It also grants axe and shovel rights.

As to why it isn't working I'm unsure. Maybe a pending best friends request actually screws with it?

Oh! I didn't know this... I may have to review "best friends" as I don't want my island wrecked :shifty:  .

I think it's an island thing. My theory is: You can only be friends with people who've visited your island, or whose island you've visited. If you're both present on the island of a mutual friend Nintendo doesn't count it.
