No trouble at all.

Found Still sitting in their small zen area, although that seems to be the primary theme overall, giving the whole island a chilled and orderly vibe. Even certain shells are organised into groups along the shore. :datass:

Thank you! I hope you found some recipes new to you.

Anyone else found you can only get star fragments the day after wishing on stars?

Just doesn't make sense to me, like it's so incongruent with the general rules in Animal Crossing on time-based events and how items are treated outside. I assumed star fragments just showed up on beaches on a time lock of the following day and are then stacked if there's not enough space on the beach and continually distributed over time as space is freed up. I think through observation this much is true. But apparently this stack is wiped after the first day after you wished on stars. Just feel cheated out of my star fragments; one of the few mildly interesting things left in this game imo.

...didn't you post this already?

I thought it just got lost at the end of a page so people missed it.

...I see how it is now ;-;

Yeah it is a little rubbish that because you’ve not had chance to play one day, your work on wishing stars (which are rare enough as is) has gone completely unrewarded, even if you don’t get as many star fragments leaving it another day, they could always put them all into your lost property box so they’re there for to collect another way.

Had some good luck going to a Nook miles island tonight, both 11pm-8am bugs caught, out of the rare tree hugging beetles I’ve only got 2 left and they’re both on coconut trees rather than normal ones. Reckon I’m going to visit another one between 5pm and 7pm tomorrow to see if I can grab the stick insect that way.

Just checked how many of the currently available fish, bugs and sea creatures I’m missing out on. 3 fish, 4 bugs and 1 sea creature. Considering how little time I’ve spent going after the sea creatures they’ve not taken long to rack up really, think for 2 of the fish I’m going to have resort to making loads of bait, again.

This totally threw me, I check threads using the Go To Last Unread feature so when it opened this thread on Jezo's post I assumed it was playing up again so skipped a page and lost track of what was going on.

Stick insect has now been caught (finally after spending nearly 6 hours alone looking for one), just 2 more of the tree trunk dwelling bugs to go, both on palm trees so that means my fruit farm can stay intact :toot:

Woo! I need to make a full account of what I still have to go, but I know that I've got more bugs than fish. Only got a few bugs to go, if I remember right.

Sorry, should have put 6 hours over the past 3 days, still a good chunk of time just for one bug!

I’ll be jumping back on this evening to see if I can get the last deep water fish and the 3 remaining bugs I can get for the time-being, then it’s just two pier dwelling ones to nab.

Didn’t catch any of the remaining fish or bugs on my list :( running around for 1 hour plus gets rather monotonous

Does anyone actually know how the standard spider spawns? Obviously it’s in a normal or hardwood tree but I’ve spent the last 2 nights (last 7pm) shaking every empty tree on my island (each time round) and nothing! Are they just a stupidly small spawn or am I just unlucky?

I'm sorry to inform you it only spawns between 7am and 7pm, so you might have been looking at the wrong time. Good news though, it spawns all year round so if you keep shaking trees you'll get one sooner rather than later.

The app I’m using says it’s spawns between 7pm and 8am? I’ll have to have a google.

No you're right, I misread it in-game. Sorry. :fp:

Easily done, the normal spiders time/season have changed a lot between the various games, still no luck though

Right, going to to temporarily dig up some palm trees so these elusive bugs have less of them to spawn on  Not going to do the same with the spider though as that spawns all year and hopefully I’ll happen across one soon.

I really hate the rarer stags. Not even seen one let alone catch them.

Missing Giraffe, Golden and Horned Hercules.
