After the F1 weekend, I felt I needed to relax so jumped on this. Found that Celeste was on my island, though there were only a few shooting stars in the sky. Managed to get the coconut night bug, though. And then there's this...

You've been a good friend, Rolf, but this is probably the thing I'll remember you most for.

That deep sense of bitter disappointment you feel when there's nothing but dresses available in the Able Sisters :|

Anyone else had a day where they didn't have a message in a bottle on the beach? I only got on for a brief spell yesterday evening (hence why I didn't pop over to Lurein for the meteors, life getting in the way ), had a bottle on the beach today though.

The icon for it doesn't appear in the inventory (like, there's just an empty slot) and when you put it on the floor it's just like... black instead of actually appearing.

I know I’m probably a bit behind the rest of you on my museum but I’ve finally gotten over 3/4 of the way for bugs and fish now, have 63 fish and 60 bugs.

More fireworks tonight

I'm at 59 and 55 respectively. Haven't caught anything new for ages.... Think I missed a few in the first month of play when my eye wasn't really on the ball. Going to take a long time for some of these to come around again!!

Might design a firework show tonight.

I found that as well, went quite a while without getting anything new and then got a bunch all at once! I do find that the spawn rate can be a bit off, when I can I look at all my trees (except in my fruit farm as thats hard to move in) for the two bugs that appear between 11pm and 8am and can I see one? Nope  Same with large shadows off the pier, I’ve given up trying bait as its a bore to farm and craft but every time I see a large shadow is it anything good? Nope it’s another ruddy sea bass! Another one being the spiders that come down from the trees, when I’m farming my fruit (and have no tools on me) I get a couple but when I have my net out and shaking the other trees I don’t even see one. Biggest one for me was the Stringfish, I tried for evening after evening to get one of those before they disappeared, crafting hundreds of bait and did I get one? Did I hell  Obviously I get that luck is part of it but After a while it does get a little annoying that the ones you’re waiting to show up just don’t.

I've rearranged my diner a little bit. I finally got a juke box so the break tapper and the hi fi are now gone. I've put the oven in instead of the microwave and put seats along the diner table. I'll have to take a photo later or something.

Ludo is gooseberry fool!
