Forcing people to subsidise the AC DLC just to play N64 games is just a ridiculous idea  just when you think Nintendo are doing good they throw a strawberry float up like this at ya

Have they announced pricing for the new Switch online option? With how much there is going to be to do in this again I think I could leave the N64 games till there’s a few more on there I’m interested in playing and just grab this DLC instead.

To be fair, it's cheaper to upgrade to expansion pass than buy the DLC invidiually.

Although the question of long term ownership of the DLC is unanswered.

I'm going to outright buy the DLC I think, would rather not be tied to renewing a more expensive NSO sub especially as when my current sub expires I'm moving onto a family sub.

I assume the DLC will be lost if you drop the sub, if you get it that way

Small print on the Direct mentions you need the active NSO Sub + EXP Pass to keep the DLC

I did wonder if I got the expansion would my entire family group get to use the animal crossing DLC as at least 4 out of the 8 people play animal crossing and that would be great value for cash

Does anyone have Green Mums on Animal crossing as I am trying to help the other half get them, shes like almost up to 1000 hours on this and says if anyone could help she would super appreciate it and would give them some bells or something in return.

Yeah I have them, although I'm not sure if I have any spare so might need to wait on me growing a new one.

Don't need anything in return, unless either of you have blue roses!

You all need to get on a family plan together, because then it becomes ridiculously good value and there's no real difficulty in setting it up.

Switch Online costs me like £2.80 a year

I've already got five people on my family plan, but none of the strawberry floaters contribute! :slol:

That’s what I’m going to do and wait for more N64 games to be added before upgrading to that plan, double the price just to play 2 N64 games seems a little excessive in my opinion

I am one happy camper. So many characters returning that I didn't think I'd see again! Very happy about having Harvs island used that way, I hate having to wait for kicks to arrive! It also means there's more room for me to grow vegetables for the Chaos diner!

Like OMKN I'll probably just buy the DLC outright. I don't see the point of having paid DLC just disappear if I forget to renew my sub.

Nintendo has confirmed to IGN that Animal Crossing: New Horizons' version 2.0 update and its Happy Home Paradise paid DLC will be the final major updates to the game that has sold over 33 million copies since its launch in March 2020.

Looked amazing! I love the idea of the new elements in both the free update and the paid DLC. The Happy Home Paradise aspect looks to be right up my street!

I've not played AC much this year but now I'm excited about returning to the game. Roll on 5 November :toot: .

This update is...mostly everything I hoped for. Gyroids! Kapp'n! :datass: New KK songs! :toot: Partitions! :D

A proper shop upgrade is the only real omission, but I guess the new marketplace(s) make up for that?

I did have a wee smile when seeing the "stretching activity" bit... but I'll *definitely* be doing it :toot: . It'll be the first time I've ever used the joy-con as motion controls!
