I wonder when that submarine and diving suit in the museum will come in to it. Be cool to have something at the jetty.

I just hope Gulliver doesn’t have a new set of items to give out, barely got any of his current set

I’ve got a decent amount of rusted parts though! Only two more visits to go...

I literally haven't had Gulliver on my island for about a month. I don't understand why they haven't programmed it so the guests who don't visit one week are *guaranteed* the next. Why can't there be a schedule rather than just a random "oh they may or may not turn up but some are guaranteed every week on certain days".

Can only assume it's a cheap way of ensuring people play it every day rather than just only popping on for the day that Redd turns up or whatever.

Glad to see it finally added. Curious to what the August update will add too.

Does he have a specific set? I thought he just gave random items!

Update looks good :toot:

Pascal has the mermaid set! I thought they were going to leave that out completely! So happy they've put him back in, as well as the diving!

I'm guessing the diving will be progress locked for new players so they can't use it to skip past the rivers early game? That was my immediate thought on seeing it

Yeah he does, I luckily got Stonehenge first time and then nothing too great since, the South Pole marker isn’t bad mind. Just want a pyramid, Sphinx and leaning tower!

Pretty much all I've been going for since the second time he showed up, but once I've got enough to build the robot hero (one visit left!) then my fingers will be crossed for Stonehenge and a few other exclusive items.

Oh what! I've got some of them then (leaning tower and south pole marker from what I can remember) but I swear I should have more, unless you don't get them every time?

Definitely need to get the set then!

EDIT: Found a full list https://www.millenium.us.org/guide/17133.html

Think this is what I have so far:

Silk hat, turban, geisha wig, samurai wig, lucky cat, tower of pisa, south pole, nutcracker

I’d like to think you don’t get duplicates but I can’t say for certain! I’ve certainly not as of yet. Sadly it all depends on how much he actually gets washed up on the beach, which happened quite a lot for me at the start, less so these past few weeks.

You do get duplicates from Gulliver after you have the first set, except they can be different colours. (From what I read on reddit a couple of weeks ago from time travellers who have everything from him)

Today he sent me a sombrero. Last time it was a Geisha wig. I'm after more of the lucky cats!

Looks great! Great timing - just as it was starting to get a bit boring. Didn't know re some of the items you can get from Gulliver - going to have to stop ignoring him!

Btw there were five fossils on my island today. I thought it was always four?

Anyone partaking in the bug off tomorrow? Would be up for doing it as a group effort as points cumulate quicker that way.

I find the fossils vary, most days I’ve found 4, some I’ve found 5 and once I’ve found 6.

Definitely be taking part in the bug off, hope it’s not a carbon copy of the fish tourney with bugs instead though.

Finished the fossils today! A complete surprise as yesterday I got the penultimate fossil, wasn't expecting to immediately then find the last! Still need to assess just under 100 fossils for the last nook miles stamp though.

still wrote:Btw there were five fossils on my island today. I thought it was always four?

From what I can gather, it's four a day unless you don't find them all on the day previous, in which case you can get five (one "carries over" so to speak).

If it's the same as the fishing tourney (and lets be honest it probably will be!) then doing it in pairs will be most efficient - the multiplayer bonus didn't scale with more players and with more players you just give yourself a longer setup time with loading everyone in and more chance for connection shenanigans.
