449?!

What's the max they can sell for? I thought it was like between 50 and 150!

You buy them on Sunday and you then have a week to sell them at the shop, with the turnip prices changing every morning/afternoon. Your turnips go off by the next Sunday so you have to get rid of them that week.

So far I’ve shot down a pink bed with a little pink desk under it, a pink mini cute DIY table and a little art set.

My house looks like I’m a 12 year old girl.

I spent 1,500 bells on a 'medium' random rug from the camel, and now I have a massive pink rose taking up a quarter of my living space.

The first one I got from her was like this hideous proper dark green thing. Second one was a really nice jungle leaf pattern that I'd actually really want IRL

Finally found a Sturgeon, too. Thank god

I thought I had a decent turnip price this evening at 174 bells, but Pedz sounds like the way to go. Shame I've sold already.

Just been to another specialised island through Mystery Tours. I'll call it money rock isle. Completely flat, with a small section with five rocks cut off by water. Can't even get over except by destroying the sixth rock on the outside of the water to vault over, which reveals what awaits in the middle (moneybags with 8000 Bells each).
Not as good as Emperor Island, but I'll take it.

How generous a term is ‘river mouth’ when catching a Sturgeon? Is it just the little zone with the submerged rocks?

Guys, I've never played an AC game before but like to have something that I can just sit down and grind through tasks. Is this for me barring in mind I didn't really get into Stardew Valley?

I think so, yeah. There's like a visible ripple border either side of it.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

I sat for an hour last night, weeding.

It's such a relaxing game that rewards logging in each day and doing your daily tasks etc.

(ive got SV on my Switch as well but that hasn't clicked with me yet)

I adore the AC series and just couldn’t get into Stardew Valley either, something about it past the opening where you move to the farm just didn’t grab me, days flew by and it felt like I was always missing something. AC is completely the opposite, it’s real time so the only time you’ll miss out on anything is if you don’t jump on for one of the events that take place throughout the year. Plenty to ‘tick off’ as well with a huge catalogue of items you can slowly acquire, a museum to donate loads of bugs, fish and fossils to. With the Nook Miles program you can also grind out various daily tasks as well, these are normally actions such as catch 5 bugs/fish, catch X bug/fish, sell stuff to earn money and so on. Personally I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Newbie question...

How do I get people to visit my island (friends) it only lets me invite all my friends - how do I invite just the one? Do I have to be on the game at the same time?
