If you use a pattern and later overwrite it updates things on the island right?

Was going to make a new area in bed but not if I have to move everything to redo floor

It does, at least that happened with a sign I have.

Thanks for visiting Tsunade. Island definitely needs tweaks but I’m happy with a lot of it.

When arranging your island, can you make/move waterfalls or are they fixed points like beach edges?

I mean you don't 'move' em like you do houses and stuff, you just fill em in or carve em out.

The only things that can't be moved are resident services and your river outlets.

Broccolo has arrived at my island, did anyone recently have him leave? Can't think of where else he might have come from (forgotten the island he said).

I have a wrestling figure sitting in the bed room, I’ll check what colour it is and send on to you if it’s blue and you still need it.

It's Friday, the shop sells 4 or 5 items a day... is this really that bad? 3/25 dupes is certainly better than what I tend to get.

And yes if you don't know the paintings better to look them up I think. If you have multiple residents its less of a problem because there is more chance someone will buy up the genuine art, but for lone players the odds aren't great (yesterday I had 2/4 genuine pieces)

The common painting was the real one... I bought it thinking it was fake! Apparently though that statue you bought is meant to glow in the dark.

Sherb has moved in from Halesowen today... sorry if I stole him DR!

Redd showed up at my place a couple of nights ago.

4 out of 4 pieces of artwork were fake. :fp:

Weeds seem to have stopped growing on my island. In my forest area I have been letting the weeds grow and spread, and only picking them once they reach full size (because I don't like how they look). I haven't had to pick any for a few days now, when I was doing it every day. It happened after I planted a few more in my orchard.

Is there a cap on number of weeds that once you reach, stops more from growing?

Unfortunately, the way you've been approaching this, while logical, is contrary to the way the game works. The larger weeds are the ones that are more likely to spawn smaller weeds in tiles adjacent to them.

I'm okay with it really, the forest has enough weeds now so not having to maintain is probably a good thing! After searching around I've seen a few people mentioning it and a claim that weeds stop growing in size if you have 85 or more.
