My biggest total in 3 minutes was 14 bugs, overall averaging at around 11 per round. Pretty sure I got all the items too (the last few were duplicates) as well as a bronze trophy, which is what I assume Flick sent in the mail. Maybe I'll go for gold next time...

Except using the turnip method on the previous page I have no idea how you find so many bugs in 3 minutes?! Whenever the timer started for me all the bugs seemed to do one

Comes down to island layout, knowing where the spawns are and fair bit of luck. If you took away the ants I was probably getting ~8 bugs a go by running up to my natural forested area (which is where I have placed spoiled turnips behind trees so you get ants running around). My best run was 16.

My best (out of the 5 runs I did) was 7, that was mixed going all around my island.

Yep, think I'm just 2 days behind for missing last weekend! That nook miles stamp is within reach.

The one I'm most worried about is "smile isle" for villager requests. Does anyone know any tricks for getting more requests? I've done 36... the last stamp is for 300 :dread:

Edit: Whoops - 'internet connection lost due to entering sleep mode' I've now disabled sleep mode and new dodo code is 8P5MT. Gates are open at Niwa for next couple of hours.

Ryokan probably won't be around - you'll find him fast asleep outside his little house. (Irl trying to do some admin work.) But feel free to have a nosey and there are some spare recipes just to the left of the airport. If you've been before then Niwa hasn't really changed that much... (I have one new project in progress though.) But feel free to revisit - all our welcome!!

Agree, Graham is great fun. I love the way you can trun the server off and on and he doesn't bat an eyelid! He's also nuts to talk to. Five of my little islanders I'm actually rather attached to. The other four.....

Thanks Tsuonade. I'll keep opening up when I can or I'll come visit if I see your gates are open. Rock recipe would be very useful!

I'll probably have my gates open (when I get back from shopping later today) if you want to pop over!

Simple wooden fence - where to hell do I find the recipe for this? Got given 50 pieces by that bastard Nook a while ago and just got round to using them for some neighbourhood decoration, but I need more and there appears to be no way for me to buy/craft them. Help!

Two fence recipes randomly rotate every day to redeem for nook miles, you just need the recipe to come up there.
