Caught that darn fast dragonfly (the banded, I think it was called) after chasing it for about ten minutes. It eventually made a mistake and ended up in my net, so hah! to you, dragonfly. Into the museum you go.

I find a good way to catch them is to try and wait/follow it till it gets near a cliff edge, especially if its uneven as they kind of get stuck in the boundary of the cliff making an easy catch.

It didn't want to get caught in the cliffs for me. It seemed to get confused around the split river, which is how I caught it.

Well the main thing is it’s another one for the museum!

Might take a lot of work to do so, but I'll try for sure.

there was a luck mechanic of sorts in the previous games, perhaps you had your lucky item

No idea what happened but I’ll take it, I know the feng shui of your house used to help as did Katrina’s fortunes but I don’t the former is in this one and Katrina definitely hasn’t been added yet, hopefully she will though.

Feng shui is in the game - if you have something of the right colour in the right position, the happy home academy can comment on it in their weekly score.

The King Tut mask that got added apparently makes you trip up more if you're wearing it, which is a hint towards luck becoming more prominent.

I’ve not really looked into my HHA score or house yet, been focusing on my island and the museum! The king tut mask has been in the series since Wild World and has made you have a chance of tripping if you’re running but I always presumed it was because the mask made you top heavy

Fair enough, I thought it was a reference to the supposed curse. I haven't made it yet (or tripped up at all!) so I'm just going off what I read

It could well be, I’ve never looked into the reasoning behind it either, a curse on the mask does make sense though, take it it’s a DIY recipe rather than a purchase?

Edit, Barreleye caught as well :) only the Blue Marlin and the Gigas Clam left from the ones available currently, would be amazing to get both of these caught before the new stuff appears in September.

Edit 2, found the recipe for the King Tut mask this morning, will be making one shortly!

I have roughly 50 DIY's going spare and I'm determined to clear them out, so I'll be opening my gates in about half an hour if anyone's interested in adding to their collection.

Will post a DoDo code here at the time.

EDIT: D3RK3 is the code. May only be open until 5:00 - 5:15 depending on the demand.

EDIT 2: Closed. May open again on Monday...? I'll definitely check in anyways, seeing as its Audie's birthday :toot:
