Bored of this stag hunt now :dread: Still boggles my mind that there's no way of finding out where and when creatures appear in the game (like, until you've caught them and then you don't need to know!). It's so lazy.

I don't know why it is like it is, but I don't think it's laziness - it'd be no more effort on the developer's part to show the times things can be caught as it is to hide them. It's a deliberate design choice to be as it is.

I'd hazard it's to give more of a feeling of discovery, but I agree with it as a criticism as I end up looking online every month for answers.

If there was just a hint system or something in place, like Blathers telling you when you should be searching for new creatures it'd make it all feel a bit more natural. And it'd give Blathers a little more to do than just accept donations.

Hunting for the stage drove me insane as well, felt like a weight off my shoulders when I found the last one! still having no luck with the one fish and sea creature that I still need to grab, still got another 1 or 2 months for each of those.

That’d be quite neat, first visit of the month he can say what’s new and what’s going at the end of the month.

They’re really rare :( I’ve seen one giant stag and two scarab beetles.

Oh dear, first day of the new creatures and the 4 bugs that are around from today? All need no rain so naturally it’s chucking it down on my island

Edit, not all bad though, both Salmon and the Mitten Crab caught already :)

This game makes the first day of the month so much more exciting for me than it used to be

Yeah it’s great! Really liking the look of the updated weeds too, but that might just be me (but at least they change unlike the flowers). Can’t wait for the grass and trees to look properly autumnal

The random nature of what you might fish up is still slightly annoying though, this morning I’ve caught the 4 new fish (both Salmon, the Mitten Crab and the Pike) but for the life of me cannot find a Blue Marlin, something I’ve been looking for months :( can’t wait till I have to try and find the elusive Stringfish again

It's not as big a seasonal change as I was expecting, but I guess the trees change colour later then? I do like the yellower grass and the new weeds. The new shop front too!

Yeah the grass and trees go more yellow/brown as we move toward winter.

DA -- 0317-6026-5729

This dream address just consumed me - it's enchanting, the interior design (across 4 homes) is sublime and there's such a bewildering amount of incidental detail that I might've glossed over a few scenes, even in the 2+ hours I spent there.

I can only criticise how awkward it can be to navigate due to the sheer magnitude of content and how the frame-rate drops for that same reason. Otherwise, couldn't recommend this one enough.

Love how last month I just about caught everything on last day, whereas I've already got all but two fish this month.

Raining on my island again so looks like the new bugs will be waiting another day. Beardo sent be a fake scary painting, fuming

Edit, it’s stopped raining now so I’ve managed to catch 2 of the 4 new bugs, just the two crickets to go now :toot: and the blue marlin of course :dread: not had chance to look at new sea creatures yet but plenty of time for those if I can grab a blue marlin in the next couple of days, can just spend my days/evenings swimming.

Edit, all new bugs caught too, just to try and get lucky with the Blue Marlin now before focusing on the sea creatures.

Edit, finally caught a Blue Marlin! Just the sea creatures to go now :)

Got Redd at my island with a genuine Nice Painting and Dynamic Painting if anyone needs them.

If not, I'd be happy to purchase them from someone if they want to swing by?

Damn, guess I missed out by being slow :(

Related post though, I have a duplicate genuine famous painting (aka Mona Lisa), free to a good home. Who wants it?
