I don't know if paintings have rarities but it certainly seems like it, the number of mona lisas and girl with the pearl earring that I've seen in my game and in others.

Sorry I was only there for a minute, I basically ran to Celeste to get a recipe (UFO!) and wished on five stars then had to go :)

I have shooting stars tonight, I will open up at 8pm and try to stay on for half an hour at least. I also have Redd visiting, but I've yet to check what is real/fake - I'll update when I do!

EDIT:

The only real piece was a Dynamic Painting. I already have it but bought it anyway, so I can post it tomorrow to whoever wants it!

I have started to get back into this recently, having begun an extensive island redesign to make more of the otherwise wasted space. I'd previously worked around the natural layout of my island, opting not to modify river or cliff structures, but that's no longer the case!

The art is my favourite aspect of the museum - far moreso than bugs or fish - but Redd rarely, if ever, appears on my island...

I'm probably over a third done with art in the museum now, it's actually going ok - mainly because of trading with people on here and having multiple characters to buy with on the rare occasion Redd has had multiple genuine pieces I need.

EDIT: Relieved it all went smoothly. Only downside is I still got spare DIY's burning a hole through the ground in my town. :lol:
